Word wordt de virtuele ouder van ROGER ROGER (geboren rond 11/2018, chipnummer 941000023052043) is een prachtige Pointer met alle klassieke eigenschappen van zijn ras! Actief. Sociaal. Slim. Speels tot in het diepst van zijn hart. Hij is dol op mensen. Elke keer dat hij een vrijwilliger ontmoet, straalt hij van pure opwinding. Hij leeft voor menselijk contact en smelt weg onder zachte aaitjes. Hij is echt mensgericht: een hond die thuishoort aan de zijde van iemand. Toen we Roger vonden, was hij huid en bot. Zo mager en hongerig dat hij nog maar een paar stappen verwijderd was van ineenzakken. In zijn eerste maanden bij ons was hij beschermend over zijn eten, want hij wist hoe het voelt om honger te lijden. Nu weet hij dat hij nooit meer zal verhongeren. En het enige wat hij wil, is spelen. Zoals elke Pointer houdt hij van speuren met zijn neus en het jagen op hagedissen. Weer een hond die werd achtergelaten, waarschijnlijk omdat hij zijn werk niet goed genoeg deed. Maar Roger is geen gebruiksvoorwerp. Hij is een ziel. Naarmate de jaren verstrijken, begint zijn lichaam op te raken en heeft hij meer zorg, voedingssupplementen en ondersteuning nodig, waardoor de kosten steeds verder stijgen. Totdat hij een eigen voor-altijd-thuis vindt... Word zijn virtuele ouder. Steun zijn reis. Geef hem de tweede kans die hij echt verdient. Roger is klaar om zijn hele hart te geven. Become ROGER’s Virtual Parent ROGER (born approx. 11/2018, microchip no. 941000023052043) is a stunning Pointer with all the classic traits of his breed! Active. Social. Smart. Playful to the bone. He absolutely adores people. Every time he meets a volunteer, he lights up with pure excitement. He lives for human connection and melts under gentle petting. He is truly human-centered — a dog who belongs by someone’s side. When we found Roger, he was skin and bones. So thin and hungry he was just a few steps away from collapsing. During his first months with us, he was protective over his food — because he knew what starvation felt like. Now? He knows he will never starve again. And all he wants to do is play. Like every Pointer, he loves exploring with his nose and hunting lizards. Another hound abandoned — probably because he “didn’t do his job well enough. ” But Roger is not a tool. He is a soul. As the years go by, his body is wearing out and needs more care, nutritional supplements, and support, so his expenses are increasing more and more.
