Conosci Ruby, uno dei cinque cuccioli nati in modo sicuro nel contesto di uno dei nostri meravigliosi rifugi partner. La sua mamma, Reina, è un Podenco Andaluz piccolo che è stato salvato dalle strade mentre era gravida, e ha dato alla luce poco dopo la sua arrivo. Per fortuna tutto è andato bene, e Reina è stata una madre devota e dolce con i suoi piccoli. Ruby e i suoi fratelli sono ancora molto giovani, quindi le loro personalità individuali stanno solo iniziando a emergere. Hanno iniziato a esplorare, giocare e mostrare quelle prime tracce del curioso e gioioso carattere che ci aspettiamo dai cuccioli cresciuti con amore e sicurezza. Non sappiamo chi sia il padre, ma un collie potrebbe essere una possibilità. Man mano che Ruby crescerà, scopriremo di più sul suo carattere - ma per ora è un cucciolo sano e felice che sta ottenendo la miglior partenza nella vita. I cuccioli/adolescenti Podenco sono molto carini, ma necessitano di addestramento costante, pazienza e comprensione, specialmente durante la fase adolescenziale in cui molte persone tendono a incontrare difficoltà. Se vuoi adottare un cucciolo Podenco, assicurati di aver bene considerato le sfide che potresti affrontare mentre si svilupperà in un adulto meraviglioso, dove poi potrai godere dei benefici del tuo lavoro. È un'esperienza meravigliosa crescere un cucciolo Podenco, ma non è per le persone timide! Ruby sarà vaccinata e testata per tutte le malattie mediterranee all'età opportuna. Meet Ruby, one of five puppies born safely in the care of one of our wonderful partner shelters. Their mum, Reina, is a small Podenco Andaluz who was rescued from the streets while heavily pregnant, and she gave birth shortly after arriving. Thankfully everything went smoothly, and Reina has been a devoted, gentle mum to her little ones. Ruby and her siblings are still very young, so their individual personalities are only just beginning to emerge. They’ve started exploring, playing, and showing those first hints of the curious, joyful nature we expect from pups raised with love and security. We don’t know who dad is, though a collie is a possibility. As Ruby grows, we’ll learn more about her character — but for now, she’s a healthy, happy puppy getting the very best start in life. Podenco puppies/adolescents are very cute, but they need consistent training, patience and understanding especially through the adolescent phase where we find a lot of people tend to struggle. If you apply to adopt a podenco puppy, please ensure you have properly thought through the challenges you might face whilst they mature into a wonderful adult where you can then reap the rewards of your hard work. It is a wonderful experience to bring up a pod puppy, but it is not for the faint hearted! Ruby will be vaccinated and tested for all Mediterranean diseases at the appropriate age. She is passported and available for adoption now (for the UK she can travel at 6 months old for EU she can travel at 4 months old). She will also require neutering at the appropriate age.
