Conosci Shelby, uno dei cinque cuccioli nati in modo sicuro nel corso del supporto di uno dei nostri meravigliosi rifugi partner. La sua mamma, Reina, è un Podenco Andaluz piccolo che è stato salvato dalle strade mentre era gravida, e ha partorito poco dopo il suo arrivo. Fortunatamente tutto è andato liscio, e Reina è stata una mamma devota e dolce per i suoi piccoli. Shelby e i suoi fratelli sono ancora molto giovani, quindi le loro personalità individuali stanno appena iniziando a emergere. Hanno iniziato ad esplorare, giocare e mostrare quelle prime tracce del naturale curioso e gioioso che ci aspettiamo dai cuccioli cresciuti con amore e sicurezza. Non sappiamo chi è il padre, ma potrebbe essere un collie. Man mano che Shelby crescerà, scopriremo di più sulla sua caratteristica - ma per ora è un cucciolo sano e felice che sta prendendo il migliore inizio nella vita. I cuccioli/adolescenti Podenco sono molto carini, ma necessitano di un addestramento costante, pazienza e comprensione soprattutto durante la fase adolescenziale, dove troviamo che molte persone tendono a riscontrare difficoltà. Se vuoi adottare un cucciolo Podenco, assicurati di aver pensato bene alle sfide che potresti affrontare mentre matura diventando un adulto splendido, così potrai poi goderti i benefici del tuo duro lavoro. È un'esperienza meravigliosa crescere un cucciolo Podenco, ma non è per le persone timide! Shelby sarà vaccinato e testato per tutte le malattie mediterranee all'età opportuna. Meet Shelby, one of five puppies born safely in the care of one of our wonderful partner shelters. Their mum, Reina, is a small Podenco Andaluz who was rescued from the streets while heavily pregnant, and she gave birth shortly after arriving. Thankfully everything went smoothly, and Reina has been a devoted, gentle mum to her little ones. Shelby and his siblings are still very young, so their individual personalities are only just beginning to emerge. They’ve started exploring, playing, and showing those first hints of the curious, joyful nature we expect from pups raised with love and security. We don’t know who dad is, though a collie is a possibility. As Shelby grows, we’ll learn more about his character — but for now, he’s a healthy, happy puppy getting the very best start in life. Podenco puppies/adolescents are very cute, but they need consistent training, patience and understanding especially through the adolescent phase where we find a lot of people tend to struggle. If you apply to adopt a podenco puppy, please ensure you have properly thought through the challenges you might face whilst they mature into a wonderful adult where you can then reap the rewards of your hard work. It is a wonderful experience to bring up a pod puppy, but it is not for the faint hearted! Shelby will be vaccinated and tested for all Mediterranean diseases at the appropriate age. He is passported and available for adoption now (for the UK he can travel at 6 months old for EU he can travel at 4 months old). He will also require neutering at the appropriate age.
