Originalmente salvata come cucciola da un cassonetto dell'immondizia in Macedonia insieme ai suoi otto fratelli, Cleo desidera ora di essere al centro di una casa dove ha lo spazio per allungare le gambe e giocare. Ha trascorso quasi un anno in una casa ma è stata restituita perché aveva difficoltà con l'ambiente affollato; i numerosi bambini, i cani domestici e i livelli elevati di rumore la stressavano e le rendevano difficile l'adattamento. Ora sta vivendo bene nell'ambiente più tranquillo delle nostre gabbie. Vorremmo ricollocarla localmente così da poter continuare a supportare gli adottatori. Una signora con gambe lunghe e una struttura agile, ama le sue corsate quotidiane nel nostro campo sicuro. Speriamo di trovare per lei una casa con un giardino recintato dove possa scatenarsi. La sua alta energia e intelligenza le permetterebbero di eccellere con un allenamento e un coinvolgimento uno a uno. Giovane e piena di potenziale, Cleo potrebbe diventare un ottimo cane da agility e ha già imparato i comandi base, offrendo volentieri la zampa per un delizioso premio. È molto motivata dal cibo ma anche amante dei suoi giochi, un vecchio pallone da calcio è perfetto per giocare a prendere e tirare, è un ottimo modo per smaltire parte della sua energia prima di una passeggiata. Cleo tende a eccitarsi all'inizio delle sue passeggiate, probabilmente perché è felice di uscire. Man mano che si abituerà alla sua nuova routine domestica, le passeggiate diventeranno una parte regolare della sua giornata, aiutandola a rimanere calma e composta. Dopo che si è calmata, è ottima in passeggiata, utilizzando una pettorina e una guida a scorrimento. È contenta di ignorare gli altri cani, interagisce bene quando necessario, ma preferisce molto il suo spazio personale. Per questo motivo, crediamo che sia meglio che sia l'unico cane in casa. Fidatevi, ha tanto amore da condividere! È amata dai suoi curatori e ha tanti particolari che ci divertono sempre. Se pensa che non le stai dando l'attenzione che merita, le darà un colpetto con la zampa finché non sarà contenta. A volte, dopo un periodo di "zoomies", le orecchie molli non sanno bene dove stare, lasciandola con un'orecchia bassa e l'altra divertentemente rovesciata in alto. Cleo ha appena avuto l'opportunità di conoscere alcuni animali e ha fatto bene! È curiosa nei confronti dei gatti e gode di un buon olfatto ma non mostra alcuna aggressività. Ha anche incontrato polli e pavoni e è rimasta contenta solo a fiutare senza mostrare istinti di caccia. Cleo vive bene con una dieta di cibo crudo, che è stata fantastica per la sua salute e per mantenerla in ottima forma. Speriamo che la nuova famiglia continui questa dieta. Se pensate che somigli molto a Little Fred, un altro dei nostri cani, avete ragione: sono gemelli! Le loro simili disposizioni allegra sono solo uno dei tanti tratti che condividono. Ha testato negativo per brucellosi, leishmaniosi e ha superato il test Snap 4D che testa la dirofilariosi, l'ehrlichiosi e l'anaplasmosi. Una ragazza sana e felice.

Originally rescued as a puppy from a rubbish dump in Macedonia along with her eight siblings, Cleo now longs to be the focal point in a home where she has the space to stretch her legs and play. She spent almost a year in a home but was returned due to her struggling with the bustling environment; the numerous children, resident dogs, and high noise levels caused her stress and made it difficult for her to adjust. She is now flourishing in the more tranquil environment of our kennels. We would like to rehome her locally so that we can continue to provide support to her adopters. A lady with long legs and an agile build, she cherishes her daily sprints across our secure field. We hope to find her a home with an enclosed garden where she can let loose. Her high energy and intelligence mean she would excel with one-to-one training and engagement. Young and brimming with potential, Cleo would make an excellent agility dog and has already mastered the basic commands, eagerly offering her paw for a delicious treat. She is very food motivated but also loves her toys, an old football is perfect for her to play fetch and tug-of-war with, this is a great way to get some of her excess energy out before a walk. Cleo tends to get excited at the start of her walks, probably because she is thrilled to be out and about. As she gets used to her new home routine, walks will become a regular part of her day, helping her stay calm and composed. After she calms down, she's great on a walk, using a harness and slip lead. She's content to ignore other dogs, interacts nicely when it's called for, but much prefers her personal space. Because of this, we believe she would do best as the only dog in a household. Trust us, she has plenty of love to share! She's adored by her caregivers and has many quirks that always keep us amused. If she thinks you're not giving her the attention she deserves, she'll nudge your hands with her paw until she's content. Sometimes, after a bout of zoomies, her floppy ears can't quite figure out where they want to be, leaving her with one ear down and the other hilariously flipped up. Cleo recently had a chance to meet some animals, and she did great! She's curious about cats and enjoys a good sniff but doesn't show any aggression. She also encountered chickens and peacocks and was content to just sniff around without displaying any hunting instincts. Cleo thrives on a raw food diet, which has been fantastic for her health and keeping her in great shape. We hope her new family will continue this diet. If you think she looks a lot like Little Fred, another one of our dogs, you're right—they're littermates! Their similar cheerful dispositions are just one of the many traits they share. She has tested negative for brucellosis, leishmaniasis and has passed her Snap 4D test which tests for heartworm, ehrlichia and anaplasma. A healthy, happy girl.
