Tanner è un incrocio pastore tedesco di media e grande taglia, con circa sei o sette anni. Non è ancora stato testato con i gatti. Può vivere con o senza altri cani. Bambini da 10 anni in su. È entrato nel nostro allevamento da poco dalla struttura pubblica di Botosani in Romania. Lo conosciamo da più di due anni e l'abbiamo portato diverse volte alla struttura. È sempre stato molto felice di vederci e un ragazzo veramente piacevole da portare fuori. È molto amichevole e sicuro di sé. Tanner potrebbe vivere molto felicemente con un altro cane o cani, ma apprezzerebbe anche di essere l'unico cane in casa. Potrebbe vivere con bambini rispettosi di età pari o superiore a 10 anni. Tanner è stato in affidamento con Norwich Norfolk Se sei interessato, invia un messaggio o chiama tra le 9:00 e le 17:00 dal lunedì al venerdì o tra le 9:00 e le 16:00 il sabato. Le tariffe per l'adozione sono: Cuccioli già sterilizzati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Cuccioli non sterilizzati con contratto di sterilizzazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta che ci manderai la prova della sterilizzazione). Cani anziani (10+ anni): £150-£250 (in base all'età e alle esigenze individuali). Condizioni e termini per l'adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, DEVI utilizzare una guinzaglio a scivolo. Questo terrà al sicuro il tuo cane: il tuo nuovo cane sarà nervoso e non ti farà fiducia, e non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero turbare il cane. Se il cane si spaventa, il guinzaglio a scivolo è l'unica via per evitare che scappi (molti cani possono scappare da collare e/o guinzaglio). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi perché il cane si abitui e tu lo conosca pienamente (più tempo per i cani nervosi). Il guinzaglio a scivolo deve essere SEMPRE utilizzato durante questo periodo di abituarsi. Anche dopo che il cane si è abituato, è più sicuro utilizzare il guinzaglio a scivolo in situazioni in cui il cane potrebbe spaventarsi (ad esempio visitando luoghi nuovi, intorno a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni in cui potrebbero esserci trigger imprevedibili (ad esempio intorno al 5 novembre). I cani nervosi potrebbero dover indossare sempre il guinzaglio a scivolo come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva. Il guinzaglio a scivolo è un dispositivo di sicurezza e mai utilizzato come strumento di addestramento. Utilizzare il guinzaglio per applicare pressione sul collo del cane è dannoso. Se il cane tira il guinzaglio, possiamo consigliarti metodi di addestramento che evitino danni. Una volta che il cane si è abituato, potresti voler considerare l'utilizzo di una cintura (insieme al guinzaglio a scivolo) se il cane è comodo con il maneggio quando è fissata. La maggior parte delle cinture non è anti-scappamento, ma le cinture con una striscia dietro le costole (es. Ruffwear Webmaster o Perfect Fit Harnesses) sono più sicure. Tanner is a medium to large sized German shepherd cross aged around six to seven years old. Not yet cat tested. Can live with or without other dogs. Children 10 plus. He has come into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. We’ve known this boy for over two years now and walked him on several trips to the shelter. He’s always been so happy to see us and a really nice boy to take out. He’s very friendly and confident. Tanner could live very happily with another dog or dogs but would also enjoy being the only dog in the home. He could live with respectful children aged ten plus. Adoption Donation Fees are Puppies already neutered and all adult dogs: £430. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
