Questo è Titch, un adorabile bulldog inglese di 8 anni, castrato, alla ricerca della sua casa per sempre. È entrato in cura da Lea Valley Dog Rescue per nessuna colpa sua e al momento è in affidamento a Newbury, Berkshire. Titch è un ragazzo dolce e affettuoso che adora tutti quelli che incontra. Il suo posto preferito è rannicchiato sul divano con le persone. Con i suoi 21 kg, è convinto di essere un cane da grembo, e se non riesce proprio a stare sulle tue gambe, si appoggia tutto il corpo a te per avvicinarsi il più possibile. In affidamento, Titch vive con un bambino di 11 anni con cui si intende perfettamente. Titch è felice quando rimane solo per fino a tre o quattro ore. Titch è un personaggio buffo e molto tipico del bulldog. Può essere un po' testardo talvolta, ma è anche molto motivato dagli snack e molto capace di imparare. Da quando è in affidamento ha fatto grandi progressi. Quando è arrivato, abbaiava per attenzione o cibo, ma con il tempo, la pazienza e la costanza, questa situazione è migliorata notevolmente. La nuova famiglia dovrà continuare con questo addestramento per aiutarlo a progredire. Sà già sedersi, venire, aspettare e dare la zampa. Titch si è dimostrato molto bravo con altri cani quando esce, indipendentemente dalle loro dimensioni o temperamento. Se un altro cane vuole giocare, Titch è felice di unirsi, e se non lo è, è cortese e rispettoso. Titch non ha mai vissuto con i gatti e gli piace inseguire uccelli e conigli selvatici nel giardino, quindi sarebbe meglio adatto a una casa senza gatti o altri piccoli animali pelosi. Potrebbe vivere con un altro cane compatibile, soggetto a introduzioni positive. Titch è facile da portare al guinzaglio, non tira e ama esplorare la campagna e fare buoni odori. È un po' un camminatore stagionale, però, e a volte può aver bisogno di un po' di incoraggiamento per uscire quando fa freddo o piove. È un ragazzo di buona natura e molto tollerante con bagni e tagli delle unghie. Titch non ha condizioni mediche note. This is Titch, an adorable, 8 year old, neutered British Bulldog looking for his forever home. He came into the care of Lea Valley Dog Rescue through no fault of his own and is currently being fostered in Newbury, Berkshire. Titch is a loving, affectionate boy who adores everyone he meets. His favourite place to be is cuddled up on the sofa with his people. At 21kg, he is convinced he is a lapdog, and if he cannot quite fit on your lap, he will simply lean his whole body into you to get as close as possible. In foster, Titch lives with an 11 year old child, whom he gets on with fantastically. Titch has been happy being left for up to three to four hours. Titch is a comical little character and very much a typical Bulldog. He can be a little stubborn at times, but he is also extremely treat-motivated and very capable of learning. Since coming into foster, he has made great progress. He would bark for attention or food when he first arrived, but with time, patience, and consistency, this has greatly improved. His new family will need to continue this training to help him keep progressing. He already knows sit, come, wait, and paw. Titch has shown himself to be very good with other dogs when out and about, no matter their size or temperament. If another dog wants to play, Titch is happy to join in, and if not, he is polite and respectful. Titch has never lived with cats and he does enjoy chasing birds and wild rabbits out of the garden, so he would be best suited to a home without cats or other small furry animals. He may be able to live with another compatible dog, subject to successful introductions. Titch is easy to walk on the lead, does not pull and loves exploring the countryside and having a good sniff around. He is a bit of a fair-weather walker, though, and can sometimes need a little encouragement to head out when it is cold or raining. He is a lovely natured boy who is also very tolerant of baths and nail trims. Titch has no known medical conditions.
