Este es Titch, un adorable bulldog inglés de 8 años, castrado, buscando su hogar para siempre. Entró en el cuidado de Lea Valley Dog Rescue por ninguna culpa propia y actualmente está en acogida en Newbury, Berkshire. Titch es un chico cariñoso y afectuoso que adora a todas las personas que conoce. Su lugar favorito es estar acurrucado en el sofá con su gente. Con 21 kg, está convencido de que es un perro de regazo, y si no puede caber en tu regazo, simplemente apoyará todo su cuerpo contra ti para acercarse lo más posible. En acogida, Titch vive con un niño de 11 años, con quien se lleva fantásticamente. Titch ha estado feliz estando solo hasta tres o cuatro horas. Titch es un personaje cómico y muy típico de un bulldog. Puede ser un poco terco a veces, pero también es extremadamente motivado por premios y muy capaz de aprender. Desde que entró en acogida, ha tenido grandes progresos. Al principio ladraba para llamar la atención o por comida, pero con el tiempo, paciencia y consistencia, esto ha mejorado enormemente. Su nueva familia deberá continuar con este entrenamiento para ayudarle a seguir progresando. Ya sabe sentarse, venir, esperar y dar la pata. Titch ha demostrado que es muy bueno con otros perros cuando sale, sin importar su tamaño o temperamento. Si otro perro quiere jugar, Titch está encantado de unirse, y si no, es cortés y respetuoso. Titch nunca ha vivido con gatos y le gusta perseguir pájaros y conejos salvajes del jardín, por lo tanto sería más adecuado para una casa sin gatos u otros animales peludos pequeños. Es posible que pueda vivir con otro perro compatible, sujeto a una introducción exitosa. Titch es fácil de pasear con correa, no tira y ama explorar el campo y olfatear bien. This is Titch, an adorable, 8 year old, neutered British Bulldog looking for his forever home. He came into the care of Lea Valley Dog Rescue through no fault of his own and is currently being fostered in Newbury, Berkshire. Titch is a loving, affectionate boy who adores everyone he meets. His favourite place to be is cuddled up on the sofa with his people. At 21kg, he is convinced he is a lapdog, and if he cannot quite fit on your lap, he will simply lean his whole body into you to get as close as possible. In foster, Titch lives with an 11 year old child, whom he gets on with fantastically. Titch has been happy being left for up to three to four hours. Titch is a comical little character and very much a typical Bulldog. He can be a little stubborn at times, but he is also extremely treat-motivated and very capable of learning. Since coming into foster, he has made great progress. He would bark for attention or food when he first arrived, but with time, patience, and consistency, this has greatly improved. His new family will need to continue this training to help him keep progressing. He already knows sit, come, wait, and paw. Titch has shown himself to be very good with other dogs when out and about, no matter their size or temperament. If another dog wants to play, Titch is happy to join in, and if not, he is polite and respectful. Titch has never lived with cats and he does enjoy chasing birds and wild rabbits out of the garden, so he would be best suited to a home without cats or other small furry animals. He may be able to live with another compatible dog, subject to successful introductions. Titch is easy to walk on the lead, does not pull and loves exploring the countryside and having a good sniff around. He is a bit of a fair-weather walker, though, and can sometimes need a little encouragement to head out when it is cold or raining. He is a lovely natured boy who is also very tolerant of baths and nail trims. Titch has no known medical conditions.
