Vivian è stata adottata nel Regno Unito da un altro rifugio 3 anni fa. Purtroppo a causa di difficoltà personali, i suoi adottatori non potevano più occuparsi di lei. Abbiamo concordato con il suo primo rifugio di prenderla in carico sotto Hope For Podencos e trovare una casa per lei. Al momento si trova in ospitalità e stiamo cercando una casa permanente per lei. È una ragazza meravigliosa che si è ben adattata alla vita in casa. Pulita all'interno, si sistemerà e si rilasserà tra le passeggiate. Buona con gli altri cani e prende grande conforto dalla loro presenza, quindi vorremmo che andasse in una casa con almeno un altro cane. Ora che si è ambientata con la sua famiglia ospite, ha momenti davvero belli e spensierati - persino cerca di far giocare il cane residente di 15 anni (molto a sua dispetto!). Ha vissuto precedentemente con bambini, quindi potrebbe andare in una casa con bambini di età pari o superiore agli 8 anni. Non è adatta ai gatti. Vivian cammina bene al guinzaglio, anche se può essere un po' timorosa rispetto alle strade affollate e ai rumori forti e reagisce anche agli altri cani mentre è al guinzaglio - qualcosa su cui la sua attuale famiglia ospite sta lavorando. Trova anche l'automobile un po' stressante al momento e ansima molto ma si sdraia e si calma - pensiamo che una volta abituata questo svanirà e possiamo anche aiutare con questo. Pur essendo inizialmente timida con le persone, si riscalda rapidamente una volta che conosce qualcuno e i suoi ospiti la descrivono come la "dolcissima, più dolce ragazza". Le piace trascorrere tempo con le sue persone ma non deve stare incollata al tuo fianco e si sistemerà volentieri per addormentarsi o rilassarsi. Vivian è sterilizzata e garantiremo che sia vaccinata e testata per malattie mediterranee. Ha il passaporto e è disponibile per l'adozione ora. Vivian was adopted to the UK by another rescue 3 years ago. Sadly due to difficult personal circumstances, her adopters could no longer care for her. We have agreed with her initial rescue to take her on under Hope For Podencos and find a home for her. She is currently in foster and we are now looking for a permanent home for her. She’s a wonderful girl who is well adjusted to life in a home. Clean in the house, will happily settle and relax in between walks. Good with other dogs and takes great comfort in their presence so we’d like her to go to a home with at least one other dog. Now that she has settled with her foster family, she has some really lovely carefree, playful moments - she even attempts to get the resident 15 year old to play (much to his disgust!). She previously lived with children so she could go into a home with children who are 8+. She is not suitable for cats. Vivian walks nicely on a lead although can be a little apprehensive of busy roads and loud noises and can also react to other dogs whilst on the lead - something her current fosters have started work on. She also finds the car a little bit stressful currently and pants quite a lot but does lie down and settle - we think once she is used to it this will dissipate and we can also help with this. Whilst she is initially shy with people, she soon warms up once she gets to know you and her fosters describe her as the ‘sweetest, gentlest girl’. She loves to spend time with her people but doesn’t have to be glued to your side and will happily take herself off to snooze or relax. Vivian is neutered, and we will ensure she is vaccinated and tested for Mediterranean diseases. She is passported and available for adoption now.
