Uno di questi cani è Bob. Ha una stoica maturità e uno sguardo profondo, come se si potessero leggere le storie che ha vissuto e le lezioni che ha imparato nei suoi occhi. Bob è arrivato da noi per il trattamento e la riabilitazione della leishmaniosi. Un cane che ha trascorso quasi tutta la vita per strada, e ora, nella fase più tenera della sua vita, quella in cui ha bisogno un po' di conforto, un po' più di cura e un po' di piacere, è molto difficile per noi lasciarlo nuovamente per strada, anche se sappiamo che vivrà in sicurezza e sarà nutrito. Guardando il suo viso bianco che gode della tranquillità e della magia ogni volta che lo portiamo con noi in ufficio, è inconcepibile per noi lasciarlo trascorrere gli ultimi anni della sua vita nel freddo dell'inverno e nel caldo dell'estate. Bob ha completato il trattamento e va bene. È un cane di toni miti e carattere dolce. Ama camminare al guinzaglio, segue fedelmente e non tira, senza necessitare di lunghi percorsi per liberare energia. È molto pulito, fa i bisogni durante le sue passeggiate e se è in ufficio e deve uscire, va alla porta e chiede di essere lasciato fuori. Non ci ha mai dato problemi per tutto il tempo che è stato nel rifugio. Fa la terapia senza lamentarsi, si comporta bene con gli altri cani senza creare problemi, è tranquillo e gentile. È un vero signore. Se dobbiamo descriverlo con una parola, questa è proprio "signore". Cerca un luogo permanente per trascorrere i suoi ultimi anni e non vivere questi ultimi anni in una gabbia o per strada.

Old dogs have a wisdom of their own. Regardless of what character they had in their youth, or what life they have lived up to the moment they come into your hands, the elderly dog you know is in one way or another wise. Bob came to us for leishmaniasis treatment and rehabilitation. A dog that has spent neatry all his life on the streets, and now, in the most tender phase of his life, the phase where he needs a bit of comfort, a bit more care, and some enjoyment, it is very difficult for us to leave him back on the street, even though we know he will live safely and be fed. Seeing his white face enjoying the tranquility and the magic every time we take him with us to the office, it is inconceivable for us to let him spend the last years of his life in the cold of winter and the heat of summer.Bob has completed his treatment and is doing well. He is a dog of mild tones and gentle character. He enjoys walking on a leash, follows faithfully, and does not pull, without needing long walks to release energy. He is very clean, goes to the bathroom on his walks, and if he is in the office and needs to go out, he goes to the door and asks to be let out.
