"Mijn naam is Alma. Ik heb een halfzwarte snor en ik hou er van gestreeld te worden. De schuchtere naast me is mijn broer, Koky." Alma en Koky zijn in 2019 geboren op een parkeerplaats bij een theater in Omonia. Hun moeder verdween kort daarna en de twee broers zijn sindsdien bij elkaar gebleven. Alma is uitgegroeid tot een sociaal, liefdevol katje dat veel aandacht van mensen wenst. Koky blijft echter terughoudend - hij vertrouwt alleen zijn zus. Alma heeft kansen gehad om alleen te worden geadopteerd, maar ze weigert om Koky achter te laten. Hun band is stil, diep en onverbrekelijk. Het huis waarin ze momenteel worden geplaatst wordt verkocht, wat hun situatie urgent maakt. Ze zoeken een thuis samen, waar geduld en begrip Koky stap voor stap veilig zou laten voelen - en waar Alma eindelijk kan ontspannen met het weten dat haar broer beschermd is.
