Albie er en av våre redde katter som er litt annerledes enn de andre. Vi ble bedt om å hjelpe denne katten som var i deres hage og så ut som om den hadde vært i et ulykke siden begge bakbeiner så ut som om kneene hans hadde vært skjøvet ut og pekte utover. Det ble funnet på hans besøk hos dyktakken at dette var en fødselsfeil og han hadde ikke dannet sine hofter rett og det var ikke mye som kunne gjøres nå da han var omtrent 8 måneder gammel. Albie forstår ikke at han er forskjellig fra andre katter og er veldig energisk og løper rundt som en hvilken som helst katt. Han kan hoppe opp, spille og jage sine leketøy og elsker sine katnip-leketøy. Han er venlig og vil hele tiden ha oppmerksomhet. Sånn som han er så full av energi med andre katter som han vil spille med kan det bli konflikt mellom dem fordi han blir irritert over at de ikke vil spille med ham og slår dem. Derfor tror vi at han bør være en enkeltkatt slik at han får all oppmerksomheten hele tiden. Han vil bli en flott kjæledyr for noen som ikke har noe imot en litt uvanlig utseende katt med et fantastisk hjerte fylt med kjærlighet for å gi den rette familien.

Albie is one of our rescue cats that is a bit different to the others. We were asked to help this cat that was in their garden who looked like it had been in an accident as both his back legs looked like his knees had been dislocated and were pointing outwards. It was found on his visit to the vet that this was a birth defect and his hips had not formed properly and there wasn’t much that could be done at this stage as he was approx 8 monhs old. Albie does not realise he is different from other cats and is very energetic and runs around like any other cat. He can jump up, play and chase his toys and loves his catnip ones. He is friendly and just wants attention all the time. As he is so full on with other cats who he wants to play with he can cause friction amongst them because he gets annoyed that they won’t play with him and gives them a swipe. So we think he should be an only cat so he gets all the attention all of the time. He would make a lovely pet for someone who doesn’t mind an odd-looking cat with a wonderful heart full of love to give the right family. Contact us if you would like to discuss adopting him.
