Albie är en av våra räddade katter som är lite annorlunda än de andra. Vi blev beordrade att hjälpa denna katt som var i deras trädgård och såg ut som om den hade varit inblandad i en olycka eftersom båda hans bakfötter såg ut som om knäna hade blivit lossade och pekade utåt. Det framkom under hans besök hos djurjouren att det var en födelseskada och att hans höftar inte hade bildats korrekt och det fanns inte mycket som kunde göras vid det här tillfället eftersom han var ungefär 8 månader gammal. Albie inser inte att han är annorlunda än andra katter och är mycket energisk och springer runt som vilken annan katt som helst. Han kan hoppa upp, spela och jaga sina leksaker och älskar sina katnip-leksaker. Han är vänlig och vill alltid ha uppmärksamhet. Eftersom han är så full på andra katter som han vill spela med kan han orsaka konflikt mellan dem eftersom han blir irriterad på att de inte vill spela med honom och ger dem en klapp. Så vi tror att han bör vara en enda katt så att han får all uppmärksamhet hela tiden. Han skulle bli en vacker kompanjon för någon som inte bryr sig om en lite ovanlig katt med ett underbart hjärta fyllt av kärlek att ge den rätta familjen.

Albie is one of our rescue cats that is a bit different to the others. We were asked to help this cat that was in their garden who looked like it had been in an accident as both his back legs looked like his knees had been dislocated and were pointing outwards. It was found on his visit to the vet that this was a birth defect and his hips had not formed properly and there wasn’t much that could be done at this stage as he was approx 8 monhs old. Albie does not realise he is different from other cats and is very energetic and runs around like any other cat. He can jump up, play and chase his toys and loves his catnip ones. He is friendly and just wants attention all the time. As he is so full on with other cats who he wants to play with he can cause friction amongst them because he gets annoyed that they won’t play with him and gives them a swipe. So we think he should be an only cat so he gets all the attention all of the time. He would make a lovely pet for someone who doesn’t mind an odd-looking cat with a wonderful heart full of love to give the right family. Contact us if you would like to discuss adopting him.
