Albie est l'un de nos chats récupérés qui est un peu différent des autres. On nous a demandé d'aider ce chat qui était dans leur jardin et qui avait l'air d'avoir été victime d'un accident puisque ses deux pattes arrière semblaient avoir les genoux disloqués et pointés vers l'extérieur. Lors de sa visite chez le vétérinaires, on a découvert qu'il s'agissait d'une malformation congénitale et que ses hanches n'avaient pas bien formé, et qu'il n'y avait pas grand-chose à faire à ce stade puisqu'il avait environ 8 mois. Albie ne réalise pas qu'il est différent des autres chats et est très énergique, il court comme n'importe quel autre chat. Il peut sauter, jouer et poursuivre ses jouets et adore les jouets au catnip. Il est sympathique et veut toujours l'attention. Comme il est si actif avec les autres chats qu'il veut jouer, il peut créer des tensions entre eux car il s'embête qu'ils ne veulent pas jouer avec lui et il les gratte. Nous pensons donc qu'il devrait être un seul chat afin qu'il reçoive toute l'attention en permanence. Il ferait un merveilleux animal de compagnie pour quelqu'un qui n'a pas d'objection à l'égard d'un chat aux allures bizarres avec un cœur plein d'amour à offrir à la bonne famille.

Albie is one of our rescue cats that is a bit different to the others. We were asked to help this cat that was in their garden who looked like it had been in an accident as both his back legs looked like his knees had been dislocated and were pointing outwards. It was found on his visit to the vet that this was a birth defect and his hips had not formed properly and there wasn’t much that could be done at this stage as he was approx 8 monhs old. Albie does not realise he is different from other cats and is very energetic and runs around like any other cat. He can jump up, play and chase his toys and loves his catnip ones. He is friendly and just wants attention all the time. As he is so full on with other cats who he wants to play with he can cause friction amongst them because he gets annoyed that they won’t play with him and gives them a swipe. So we think he should be an only cat so he gets all the attention all of the time. He would make a lovely pet for someone who doesn’t mind an odd looking cat with a wonderful heart full of love to give the right family.
