Albie é um dos nossos gatos resgatados que é um pouco diferente dos outros. Fomos solicitados a ajudar este gato que estava no seu jardim e parecia ter estado em um acidente, pois as suas duas pernas de trás pareciam ter os joelhos deslocados e estavam apontando para fora. Foi encontrado na sua visita ao veterinário que se tratava de uma anomalia congénita e os seus quadris não se formaram correctamente e não havia muito que pudesse ser feito nesta fase, pois tinha aproximadamente 8 meses. Albie não percebe que é diferente dos outros gatos e é muito energético e corre como qualquer outro gato. Pode saltar, brincar e perseguir os seus brinquedos e adora os que contêm felino. É amigável e quer sempre atenção. Como é muito activo com outros gatos com quem quer brincar, pode causar conflitos entre eles porque fica irritado por eles não quererem brincar com ele e lhes dá uma rasteira. Por isso pensamos que deveria ser um gato único para receber toda a atenção o tempo todo. Seria um ótimo animal de estimação para alguém que não se importa com um gato de aparência peculiar com um coração maravilhoso cheio de amor para dar à família certa.

Albie is one of our rescue cats that is a bit different to the others. We were asked to help this cat that was in their garden who looked like it had been in an accident as both his back legs looked like his knees had been dislocated and were pointing outwards. It was found on his visit to the vet that this was a birth defect and his hips had not formed properly and there wasn’t much that could be done at this stage as he was approx 8 monhs old. Albie does not realise he is different from other cats and is very energetic and runs around like any other cat. He can jump up, play and chase his toys and loves his catnip ones. He is friendly and just wants attention all the time. As he is so full on with other cats who he wants to play with he can cause friction amongst them because he gets annoyed that they won’t play with him and gives them a swipe. So we think he should be an only cat so he gets all the attention all of the time. He would make a lovely pet for someone who doesn’t mind an odd-looking cat with a wonderful heart full of love to give the right family. Contact us if you would like to discuss adopting him.
