Dzięki swojej miłości do spacerów, eksploracji nowych widoków i zapachów oraz spędzania czasu z ulubionymi ludźmi, Pepe to zabawny, drwiący i czuły chłopak, który byłby zachwycony, znajdąc przyjazne domowe miejsce, cierpliwych ludzi i stogiem miękkich zabawek czekających tylko na niego. Pepe to pięcioletni mieszaniec z sercem ze złota, który rozświetla się z radości w momencie pojawienia się nowej zabawki – jego całe twarz świeci jakby właśnie wygrał losowanie! Ten piękny chłopak trafił do nas bez żadnego winy i od tego czasu zdobi wszystkich, których spotyka. Pepe chciałby być jedynym zwierzęciem domowym w spokojnym, tylko dla dorosłych domu, gdzie mógłby cieszyć się wystarczającą ilością przestrzeni do odpoczynku. Chętnie udaje się w podróże z kilkoma mniejszymi psimi towarzyszącymi, ale pewne sytuacje, takie jak wizyty u weterynarza, mogą być dla niego trochę przejmujące. Aby poczuć się bezpiecznie, Pepe nosi stylishowy mały maseczkę i świetnie radzi sobie z treningiem razem ze swoim najlepszym przyjacielem, Sara.

We don’t know anything about Pepe’s life before he became a Dogs Trust dog, but we know exactly what he likes now. Playtime and soft toys are up there, but when it comes down to it his first love is for food. He is gentle when taking food but will keep an eagle-eye out for any treat-bag raiding opportunities! Pepe enjoys trips out and travels well in the car. He’s definitely a back-seat kind of guy, and will also need a car ramp to get out. Once he’s settled in he should also be ok being left home alone for a couple of hours, and can then build on this. Pepe has been in kennels for a while now but we know with the right introduction to his new life he’ll melt someone’s heart and put a smile on their face. He does it every day here! Pepe is a 5yr old Lab cross who is heaps of fun to be around. Underneath his confident exterior there is a more nervous soul underneath. He can find new people a bit worrying, and especially struggles with meeting men. He can do it, it just takes more time and effort, and adopters will need to visit the centre regularly to build up this trust. Pepe is currently sharing his kennel with another dog. He doesn’t cope with bouncy dogs, but could live with a calmer dog as long as they get on well during meets in centre. Pepe does have some leg pain associated with a historic injury and is on pain medication to help manage this. For this reason he’s also looking for a home where it’s not essential that he uses stairs on a regular basis.
