Cuando el tiempo de juego se acaba, el lado suave y cariñoso de Pepe realmente brilla. Le encantan sus osos de peluche y ama llevarlos orgullosamente antes de acostarse para un agradable abrazo. También es un verdadero amante de la comida, especialmente cuando se trata de queso líquido, y disfruta mostrando lo inteligente que puede ser. Con su amor por los paseos, explorar nuevos paisajes y olores, y pasar tiempo con sus personas favoritas, Pepe es un chico juguetón, travieso y cariñoso que estaría encantado de encontrar una casa acogedora, personas pacientes y una pila de juguetes suaves esperándolo. Pepe es un cruze de cinco años con un corazón dorado que irradia alegría en el momento en que aparece un nuevo juguete: toda su cara se ilumina como si hubiera ganado la lotería. Este adorable muchacho llegó a nosotros sin ninguna culpa propia y ha estado encantando a todos los que conoce desde entonces. A Pepe le encantaría ser el único animal de compañía en un hogar tranquilo y solo para adultos donde pueda disfrutar de mucho espacio para relajarse. Está contento de salir de aventuras con algunos compañeros caninos más pequeños, pero algunas situaciones, como las visitas al veterinario, pueden resultarle un poco abrumadoras. Para ayudarlo a sentirse seguro, Pepe lleva su pequeño bozal estilo y ha estado haciendo muy bien su entrenamiento junto a su mejor amigo, Sara.

We don’t know anything about Pepe’s life before he became a Dogs Trust dog, but we know exactly what he likes now. Playtime and soft toys are up there, but when it comes down to it his first love is for food. He is gentle when taking food but will keep an eagle-eye out for any treat-bag raiding opportunities! Pepe enjoys trips out and travels well in the car. He’s definitely a back-seat kind of guy, and will also need a car ramp to get out. Once he’s settled in he should also be ok being left home alone for a couple of hours, and can then build on this. Pepe has been in kennels for a while now but we know with the right introduction to his new life he’ll melt someone’s heart and put a smile on their face. He does it every day here! Pepe is a 5yr old Lab cross who is heaps of fun to be around. Underneath his confident exterior there is a more nervous soul underneath. He can find new people a bit worrying, and especially struggles with meeting men. He can do it, it just takes more time and effort, and adopters will need to visit the centre regularly to build up this trust. Pepe is currently sharing his kennel with another dog. He doesn’t cope with bouncy dogs, but could live with a calmer dog as long as they get on well during meets in centre. Pepe does have some leg pain associated with a historic injury and is on pain medication to help manage this. For this reason he’s also looking for a home where it’s not essential that he uses stairs on a regular basis.
