Gunner é um muito bonito, 7 anos, Spaniel chocolate que procura uma casa activa, experiente e exclusivamente para adultos com alguém que tenha tempo e paciência para o treinar. Enquanto isso, ele é cuidado pela Last Chance Animal Rescue em Edenbridge, Kent. Gunner é um típico Spaniel que adora jogar bola e joga durante horas. Sempre encontra uma bola nas caminhadas. Ao jogar de busca, é excelente e devolve a bola aos teus pés. Mesmo que Gunner seja um rapaz feliz e sempre balanceie a cauda, não gosta de ser excessivamente mimado e aprecia o seu próprio espaço. Gunner gosta do som da própria voz e será vocal para obter atenção, comida e mesmo para as caminhadas. Infelizmente, não se dá bem com outros animais, especialmente gatos, por isso procura uma casa sem animais. Gunner é um rapaz hiper-energético que está sempre em movimento; tem muita energia e adoraria uma casa activa. No entanto, em casa Gunner não tem boas maneiras e saltará e dormirá no sofá e na cama se quiser. A melhor forma de resolver isto é recompensá-lo com um petisco para o fazer sair. Gunner pode ser teimoso e determinado a fazer o que quer quando está num certo humor e isso é algo que precisa de ser trabalhado. Quando Gunner está a descontrair-se à noite, sentar-se-á contente ao teu lado. Gunner não gosta dos criadores ou de ser criado. Teve uma experiência traumática com isto anteriormente, por isso agora é muito receoso e desconfiado quando algo acontece ao seu pelo. Tudo deve ser feito em etapas para construir a confiança e permitir-lhe que seja totalmente criado. Gunner is a very handsome, 7 year old, chocolate Spaniel who is looking for an active, experienced and adult-only home with someone who has the time and patience to put in his training. Meantime, he is being cared for by Last Chance Animal Rescue in Edenbridge, Kent. Gunner is a typical Spaniel who loves to play ball and will play for hours. He will always find a ball when on walks. When playing fetch, he is great and returns the ball to your feet. Even though Gunner is a happy chap and is always wagging his tail, he is not keen on being over-fussed and likes his own space. Gunner loves the sound of his own voice and will be vocal for attention, food and even for walks. Sadly, he is not good with other animals, especially cats, so would be looking for a pet-free home. Gunner is a hyper energetic boy who is always on the move; he has bundles of energy and would love an active home. However, in the home Gunner does not have manners and will jump and sleep on the sofa and bed if he wants to. The best way to overcome this is to bribe him with a treat to get him off. Gunner can be stubborn and determined to do what he wants when he is in a certain mood and this is something that would need to be worked on. When Gunner is on a wind down in the evenings, he will happily sit next to you. Gunner is not a fan of the groomers or being groomed. He had a traumatic experience with this in the past so now he is very fearful and suspicious when something is happening to his fur. Everything must be done in stages to work up building the trust to allow him to have a full groom.
