Gunner es un perrito muy atractivo, de 7 años, Spaniel chocolate que busca una casa activa, experimentada y solo para adultos con alguien que tenga tiempo y paciencia para entrenarlo. Mientras tanto, es atendido por Last Chance Animal Rescue en Edenbridge, Kent. Gunner es un Spaniel típico que ama jugar al balón y puede jugar durante horas. Siempre encuentra un balón durante sus paseos. Al jugar a buscar el balón, es excelente y devuelve el balón a tus pies. Aunque Gunner es un chico feliz y siempre mueve la cola, no le gusta mucho ser sobreprotegido y prefiere su espacio. Gunner ama el sonido de su propia voz y estará vocalizando para obtener atención, comida e incluso para pasear. Lamentablemente, no se lleva bien con otros animales, especialmente con gatos, por lo que buscaría una casa sin mascotas. Gunner es un chico muy energético que siempre está en movimiento; tiene muchos niveles de energía y amaría una casa activa. Sin embargo, en casa Gunner no tiene modales y saltará y dormirá en el sofá o en la cama si lo desea. La mejor manera de resolver esto es tentarle con un premio para que se vaya. Gunner puede ser terco y determinado a hacer lo que quiere cuando está en cierto estado de ánimo y esto es algo que necesitaría trabajarse. Cuando Gunner se relaja por las noches, podrá sentarse a tu lado felizmente. Gunner no es fan de los peluqueros ni de ser pelucado. Tuvo una experiencia traumática con esto en el pasado, por lo que ahora es muy temeroso y desconfiado cuando algo sucede con su pelaje. Todo debe hacerse en etapas para construir la confianza y permitirle tener un peluquín completo. Gunner is a very handsome, 7 year old, chocolate Spaniel who is looking for an active, experienced and adult-only home with someone who has the time and patience to put in his training. Meantime, he is being cared for by Last Chance Animal Rescue in Edenbridge, Kent. Gunner is a typical Spaniel who loves to play ball and will play for hours. He will always find a ball when on walks. When playing fetch, he is great and returns the ball to your feet. Even though Gunner is a happy chap and is always wagging his tail, he is not keen on being over-fussed and likes his own space. Gunner loves the sound of his own voice and will be vocal for attention, food and even for walks. Sadly, he is not good with other animals, especially cats, so would be looking for a pet-free home. Gunner is a hyper energetic boy who is always on the move; he has bundles of energy and would love an active home. However, in the home Gunner does not have manners and will jump and sleep on the sofa and bed if he wants to. The best way to overcome this is to bribe him with a treat to get him off. Gunner can be stubborn and determined to do what he wants when he is in a certain mood and this is something that would need to be worked on. When Gunner is on a wind down in the evenings, he will happily sit next to you. Gunner is not a fan of the groomers or being groomed. He had a traumatic experience with this in the past so now he is very fearful and suspicious when something is happening to his fur. Everything must be done in stages to work up building the trust to allow him to have a full groom.
