Gunner è un bellissimo, 7 anni, Spaniel marrone che cerca una casa attiva, esperta e riservata agli adulti, con qualcuno che ha tempo e pazienza per il suo addestramento. Per ora, viene curato da Last Chance Animal Rescue ad Edenbridge, Kent. Gunner è un tipico Spaniel che ama giocare a pallina e giocherà per ore. Troverà sempre una palla durante le passeggiate. Quando si gioca a rimbalzo, è ottimo e riporta la palla ai piedi. Anche se Gunner è un ragazzone felice e sempre con la coda in movimento, non gli piace essere troppo coccolato e preferisce il suo spazio. Gunner ama il suono della sua voce e diventa vocale per ottenere attenzione, cibo e perfino per le passeggiate. Purtroppo non è bravo con altri animali, specialmente gatti, quindi cercherebbe una casa senza animali domestici. Gunner è un ragazzo iper-energico che è sempre in movimento; ha tanta energia e amerebbe una casa attiva. Tuttavia, a casa Gunner non ha buone maniere e salterà sul divano e sul letto se lo desidera. La migliore soluzione per questo è ingannarlo con un biscotto per fargli smettere. Gunner può essere testardo e determinato a fare ciò che vuole quando è in una certa umore e questo è qualcosa che andrebbe affrontato. Quando Gunner si calma la sera, starà volentieri accanto a te. Gunner non è un fan dei parrucchieri o del petting. Ha avuto un esperienza traumatica in passato, quindi ora è molto pauroso e sospettoso quando qualcosa accade ai suoi peli. Tutto deve essere fatto in fasi per costruire la fiducia per permettergli di avere un completo petting. Gunner is a very handsome, 7 year old, chocolate Spaniel who is looking for an active, experienced and adult-only home with someone who has the time and patience to put in his training. Meantime, he is being cared for by Last Chance Animal Rescue in Edenbridge, Kent. Gunner is a typical Spaniel who loves to play ball and will play for hours. He will always find a ball when on walks. When playing fetch, he is great and returns the ball to your feet. Even though Gunner is a happy chap and is always wagging his tail, he is not keen on being over-fussed and likes his own space. Gunner loves the sound of his own voice and will be vocal for attention, food and even for walks. Sadly, he is not good with other animals, especially cats, so would be looking for a pet-free home. Gunner is a hyper energetic boy who is always on the move; he has bundles of energy and would love an active home. However, in the home Gunner does not have manners and will jump and sleep on the sofa and bed if he wants to. The best way to overcome this is to bribe him with a treat to get him off. Gunner can be stubborn and determined to do what he wants when he is in a certain mood and this is something that would need to be worked on. When Gunner is on a wind down in the evenings, he will happily sit next to you. Gunner is not a fan of the groomers or being groomed. He had a traumatic experience with this in the past so now he is very fearful and suspicious when something is happening to his fur. Everything must be done in stages to work up building the trust to allow him to have a full groom.
