Gunner est un chien de race Spaniel très séduisant, âgé de 7 ans, qui cherche une maison active, expérimentée et uniquement pour adultes, avec quelqu'un qui a le temps et la patience pour son entraînement. En attendant, il est soigné par Last Chance Animal Rescue à Edenbridge, Kent. Gunner est un Spaniel typique qui adore jouer au ballon et peut jouer pendant des heures. Il trouve toujours un ballon lors de ses promenades. Lorsqu'on joue à la balle, il est excellent et rapporte la balle à vos pieds. Même si Gunner est un chien joyeux et qui remue toujours la queue, il n'aime pas être trop gâté et apprécie son espace personnel. Gunner aime le son de sa propre voix et se met à aboyer pour attirer l'attention, pour la nourriture ou même pour les promenades. Malheureusement, il ne s'entend pas bien avec d'autres animaux, surtout les chats, donc il rechercherait une maison sans animaux domestiques. Gunner est un jeune homme hyperactif qui est toujours en mouvement ; il a beaucoup d'énergie et adorerait une maison active. Cependant, à la maison, Gunner n'a pas de bonnes manières et saute sur le canapé et le lit s'il le souhaite. La meilleure façon de résoudre cela est de le récompenser avec une friandise pour qu'il en descende. Gunner peut être têtu et déterminé à faire ce qu'il veut lorsqu'il est dans une certaine humeur et cela nécessitera du travail. Lorsque Gunner se calme le soir, il reste volontiers à côté de vous. Gunner n'aime pas les toiletteurs ou être toiletté. Il a eu une expérience traumatisante dans le passé, donc maintenant il est très craintif et méfiant lorsqu'on fait quelque chose à ses poils. Tout doit être fait étape par étape pour construire la confiance afin qu'il puisse être toiletté en entier. Gunner is a very handsome, 7 year old, chocolate Spaniel who is looking for an active, experienced and adult-only home with someone who has the time and patience to put in his training. Meantime, he is being cared for by Last Chance Animal Rescue in Edenbridge, Kent. Gunner is a typical Spaniel who loves to play ball and will play for hours. He will always find a ball when on walks. When playing fetch, he is great and returns the ball to your feet. Even though Gunner is a happy chap and is always wagging his tail, he is not keen on being over-fussed and likes his own space. Gunner loves the sound of his own voice and will be vocal for attention, food and even for walks. Sadly, he is not good with other animals, especially cats, so would be looking for a pet-free home. Gunner is a hyper energetic boy who is always on the move; he has bundles of energy and would love an active home. However, in the home Gunner does not have manners and will jump and sleep on the sofa and bed if he wants to. The best way to overcome this is to bribe him with a treat to get him off. Gunner can be stubborn and determined to do what he wants when he is in a certain mood and this is something that would need to be worked on. When Gunner is on a wind down in the evenings, he will happily sit next to you. Gunner is not a fan of the groomers or being groomed. He had a traumatic experience with this in the past so now he is very fearful and suspicious when something is happening to his fur. Everything must be done in stages to work up building the trust to allow him to have a full groom.
