În prezent găsește lucrurile puțin supărătoare și va avea nevoie de timp, răbdare și înțelegere pentru a o ajuta să iasă din pânza ei. Încă nu se simte destul de curajoasă ca să te abordeze, dar îți va permite să o atingi cu blândețe. Caută o casă liniștită și quietă cu adoptanți care să o lase să se adapteze la propriul ei ritm. Am putea considera plasarea ei alături unor adolescenți blânzi și experimentați cu câini. Nyssa se descurcă minunat cu prietenele ei din boxă și se sprijină pe compania lor pentru confort, așa că va avea nevoie de un câine rezident blând și încrezător în noul ei mediu pentru a o ghida și a-i oferi asigurarea de care are nevoie în timp ce se adaptează și găsește echilibrul. Nyssa is a gentle little soul who came into our care from a breeder in search of a fresh start. When she first arrived, she was finding the world quite overwhelming and needed plenty of time, patience, and understanding to help her feel safe. After spending a few weeks with us, Nyssa has already made such lovely progress and has really started to come out of her shell. She’s no longer the shy and worried girl we first met, but instead a curious and comical little lady who has absolutely stolen our hearts. Nyssa has discovered toys and absolutely LOVES them, along with tasty treats and gentle fusses under her ears. If she can make this amount of progress in such a short space of time at the rescue, we can only imagine how well she is going to blossom in a loving home environment. She is still building confidence with being picked up and handled, but she is already becoming much more comfortable and will happily plonk herself into a bed ready to be lifted up. Nyssa recently visited the grooming room for a little trim due to the warm weather, and she was an absolute dream throughout, standing beautifully even for the fiddly bits around her eyes. Nyssa gets on wonderfully with every dog she has met at the rescue and really enjoys being in their company, so we feel she would benefit from living with a kind and confident resident dog who can continue to guide and reassure her as she settles into home life. As Nyssa has never lived in a home before, she will still need help learning about house training, walking on a lead and harness, and all the usual basics of home life. A calm and consistent approach will help her continue to grow in confidence and feel secure in her new surroundings. Nyssa arrived with some hormonal alopecia, which should continue to improve now that she has been spayed. She also has a slightly undershot jaw, but this doesn’t cause her any problems at all. Nyssa is a truly darling little girl who just needs a loving home willing to continue the wonderful progress she has already made. Whoever welcomes her into their family is going to gain a very special companion. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
