09-05-26 Nyssa es una chica muy preocupada que ha llegado a nuestro cuidado desde un criador en busca de un nuevo comienzo. Está encontrando las cosas un poco abrumadoras en este momento y necesitará tiempo, paciencia y comprensión para ayudarla a salir de su caparazón. Aún no se siente lo suficientemente valiente como para acercarse a usted, pero le permitirá que la acaricie suavemente. Buscará una casa tranquila y silenciosa con adoptantes que le permitan adaptarse a su propio ritmo. Consideraríamos colocarla con adolescentes gentiles y que estén familiarizados con los perros. Nyssa se lleva maravillosamente con sus amigos en la jaula y depende de su compañía para sentirse mejor, por lo tanto necesitará un perro residente amable y seguro en su nueva casa para ayudarla a guiarla y darle la seguridad que necesita mientras se adapta y encuentra su camino. Como Nyssa nunca ha vivido en una casa antes, necesitará aprender todo sobre el entrenamiento en la casa, caminar con correa y arnés y las otras bases de la vida en casa. Un enfoque tranquilo y constante la ayudará a sentirse segura y a construir gradualmente su confianza. Nyssa ha llegado con cierta alopecia hormonal, la cual debería crecer nuevamente ahora que ha sido esterilizada. También tiene una mandíbula ligeramente cruzada, pero esto no le causa ningún problema. Nyssa es un alma dulce que simplemente necesita tiempo y bondad. Con el apoyo adecuado, comenzará lentamente a sentirse segura y mostrará la agradable compañera que tiene el potencial de convertirse. Este perro puede ser colocado con un perro residente.

Nyssa is a gentle little soul who came into our care from a breeder in search of a fresh start. When she first arrived, she was finding the world quite overwhelming and needed plenty of time, patience, and understanding to help her feel safe. After spending a few weeks with us, Nyssa has already made such lovely progress and has really started to come out of her shell. She’s no longer the shy and worried girl we first met, but instead a curious and comical little lady who has absolutely stolen our hearts. She has recently moved to a wonderful foster home where she is learning all about home life for the first time ever. She is settling in well and is learning all about toilet training and doing well with this. She has discovered the garden and absolutely adores spending time pottering around it, she has also discovered a love for toys! Nyssa is still building confidence with being picked up and handled, but she is happy to take a treat from you and accept a gentle fuss. She recently visited the grooming room for a little trim due to the warm weather, and she was an absolute dream throughout, standing beautifully even for the fiddly bits around her eyes. Nyssa gets on wonderfully with every dog she has met at the rescue and really enjoys being in their company, so she will need to be homed with a kind and confident resident dog who can continue to guide and reassure her as she settles into home life. She doesn't yet walk on a lead and harness and this is something she will need to practice around the home and garden until she gains confidence to venture further. Nyssa arrived with some hormonal alopecia, which should continue to improve now that she has been spayed. She also has a slightly undershot jaw, but this doesn’t cause her any problems at all. Nyssa is a truly darling little girl who just needs a loving home willing to continue the wonderful progress she has already made. Whoever welcomes her into their family is going to gain a very special companion. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
