09-05-26 Nyssa est une jeune fille très inquiète qui est entrée dans notre garde provenant d'un éleveur en quête d'une nouvelle vie. Elle trouve les choses un peu accablantes pour l'instant et aura besoin de temps, de patience et de compréhension pour qu'elle sorte de sa coquille. Elle n'a pas encore assez confiance pour s'approcher de vous, mais elle vous laissera doucement caresser. Elle cherchera un foyer calme et tranquille avec des adoptants qui lui permettront de s'installer à son rythme. Nous considérerions la possibilité de la placer avec des adolescents doux et expérimentés avec les chiens. Nyssa s'entend merveilleusement bien avec ses amis de cage et compte sur leur présence pour se sentir en sécurité, donc elle aura besoin d'un chien résident bienveillant et sûr de lui dans son nouveau foyer pour l'aider à se guider et à recevoir le réconfort dont elle a besoin pendant qu'elle s'installe et trouve ses marques. Comme Nyssa n'a jamais vécu dans un foyer auparavant, elle devra apprendre tout sur l'éducation aux toilettes, la marche avec une laisse et un harnais ainsi que les bases de la vie en famille. Une approche calme et constante l'aidera à se sentir en sécurité et à progressivement construire sa confiance. Nyssa arrive avec une certaine alopecia hormonale, qui devrait repousser maintenant qu'elle a été stérilisée. Elle a également une mâchoire légèrement prognathe, mais cela ne lui cause aucun problème. Nyssa est une petite âme douce qui a simplement besoin de temps et de bienveillance. Avec le soutien approprié, elle commencera lentement à se sentir en sécurité et à montrer la charmante compagne qu'elle a le potentiel de devenir. Ce chien peut être placé avec un chien résident.

Nyssa is a gentle little soul who came into our care from a breeder in search of a fresh start. When she first arrived, she was finding the world quite overwhelming and needed plenty of time, patience, and understanding to help her feel safe. After spending a few weeks with us, Nyssa has already made such lovely progress and has really started to come out of her shell. She’s no longer the shy and worried girl we first met, but instead a curious and comical little lady who has absolutely stolen our hearts. She has recently moved to a wonderful foster home where she is learning all about home life for the first time ever. She is settling in well and is learning all about toilet training and doing well with this. She has discovered the garden and absolutely adores spending time pottering around it, she has also discovered a love for toys! Nyssa is still building confidence with being picked up and handled, but she is happy to take a treat from you and accept a gentle fuss. She recently visited the grooming room for a little trim due to the warm weather, and she was an absolute dream throughout, standing beautifully even for the fiddly bits around her eyes. Nyssa gets on wonderfully with every dog she has met at the rescue and really enjoys being in their company, so she will need to be homed with a kind and confident resident dog who can continue to guide and reassure her as she settles into home life. She doesn't yet walk on a lead and harness and this is something she will need to practice around the home and garden until she gains confidence to venture further. Nyssa arrived with some hormonal alopecia, which should continue to improve now that she has been spayed. She also has a slightly undershot jaw, but this doesn’t cause her any problems at all. Nyssa is a truly darling little girl who just needs a loving home willing to continue the wonderful progress she has already made. Whoever welcomes her into their family is going to gain a very special companion. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
