Roxanne este o fată frumoasă, blândă. Prietenoasă, socială și foarte dispusă să placă. A fost găsită abandonată și a fost adusă la Refugiul Lemnos, unde împarte acum mica ei incintă cu un câine mascul. Roxanne se descurcă bine cu ceilalți cãini pe care i-a cunoscut în refugiu, dar când vine vorba de pisici, dorește să le urmărească – nu într-un mod rău, ci mai degrabă jucăuş. Totuși, dacă va trăi cu o pisică, este nevoie de o introducere atentă și de puțină răbdare. Roxanne este vibrantă, dar într-un mod moderat. Este foarte ușor de legat de ea atât pentru noi, cât și pentru vizitatori. Este un câine sensibil, așa că copiii dintr-o casă viitoare ar trebui să fie puțin mai mari. Are nevoie de o casă relativ activă și, preferabil, din afara mediului urban. Some dogs arrive with a list of demands. Roxanne has a much shorter list. She’d like a home. That’s really it. She’s the kind of dog who seems to have quietly mastered life already. Walk? She’s by your side. A stroll through town? Lovely. A woodland wander? Perfect. A hike in the mountains? Count her in. An evening by the sea? She’ll happily watch the waves with you. Roxanne isn’t looking for excitement. She’s looking for company.She’s wonderfully gentle with people, friendly with other dogs, respectful around cats, and walks beautifully on a lead. She’s the dog who fits into your day rather than asking you to rearrange your whole life around hers. You know those dogs that make you wonder, “How on earth is nobody taking you home?” That’s Roxanne. She’s spent two years waiting in the shelter. Two birthdays. Two winters.
