Roxanne ist ein wirklich nettes, süßes Mädchen. Freundlich, gesellig und sehr willig, zu gefallen. Sie wurde verlassen gefunden und ins Lemnos Shelter gebracht, wo sie jetzt ihre kleine Geheimniskammer mit einem männlichen Hund teilt. Roxanne versteht sich gut mit den anderen Hunden, die sie im Shelter kennengelernt hat, aber wenn es um Katzen geht, möchte sie sie jagen – nicht in einer bösartigen Weise, sondern eher spielend. Dennoch ist bei einem Zusammenleben mit einer Katze eine vorsichtige Einführung und etwas Geduld erforderlich. Roxanne ist lebhaft, aber in maßvollem Ausmaß. Es ist sehr leicht, sich mit ihr zu verbinden, sowohl für uns als auch für Besucher. Sie ist ein empfindsamer Hund, sodass Kinder in einem zukünftigen Zuhause etwas älter sein sollten. Sie benötigt einen relativ aktiven Haushalt und idealerweise außerhalb einer Stadtumgebung. Roxanne hat wahrscheinlich noch nie innen gelebt, also kann man damit rechnen, dass es viel gibt, was sie noch lernen muss, was das Leben im Zuhause bedeutet. Age: Around 3 years old. Profession: Making absolutely everything look easy. Special Skills: Walking politely beside you, making friends with everyone, and reminding you that calm is a superpower. Some dogs arrive with a list of demands. Roxanne has a much shorter list. She’d like a home. That’s really it. She’s the kind of dog who seems to have quietly mastered life already. Walk? She’s by your side. A stroll through town? Lovely. A woodland wander? Perfect. A hike in the mountains? Count her in. An evening by the sea? She’ll happily watch the waves with you. Roxanne isn’t looking for excitement. She’s looking for company.She’s wonderfully gentle with people, friendly with other dogs, respectful around cats, and walks beautifully on a lead. She’s the dog who fits into your day rather than asking you to rearrange your whole life around hers. You know those dogs that make you wonder, “How on earth is nobody taking you home?” That’s Roxanne. She’s spent two years waiting in the shelter. Two birthdays. Two winters. Two summers watching other dogs leave while she waits for someone to notice what everyone at the shelter already knows… She’s simply lovely. Not dramatic. Not demanding. Just kind.
