Roxanne jól megy a többi kutyával, amellyel a menhelyen találkozott, de macskákkal szemben inkább játszani szeretne – nem erőszakosan, hanem inkább játékosan. Azonban, ha egy macskával élné, szükség van egy óvatos bemutatásra és egy kis türelemre. Roxanne élettel teli, de mérsékelten. Nagyon könnyű megbarátkozni vele mind minket, mind a látogatókat. Szenzitív kutya, így a jövőbeli otthonban lévő gyerekeknek kissé idősebbeknek kell lenniük. Szüksége van egy viszonylag aktív otthonra, és előnyösen egy városi környezetből távolabbi helyen.
