Adalind & Juliette

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Kitten · 4 months

Adalind and Juliette came into our care together after needing treatment for cat flu. Thanks to plenty of love and care from our animal care team and veterinary treatment, they have made a great recovery. Although they were a little shy when they first arrived, their confidence has grown more and more each day. They are now ready to begin the search for their forever homes and can be rehomed either together or separately. These gorgeous girls have really come out of their shells and are now full of character. They love darting around their pen, climbing to the highest spots they can find, and keeping themselves busy with toys. After burning off all that kitten energy, they're more than happy to settle down in a cosy bed for a well-earned snooze. Adalind and Juliette would love homes where they can enjoy plenty of playtime, enrichment, and affection. They could live with sensible children who are used to cats and may be able to share their home with another friendly cat following gradual introductions. It is unknown how they would react to living with dogs.

About Adalind & Juliette

What life with Adalind & Juliette looks like

Adalind & Juliette is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at USPCA.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇮🇪Adopting from Ireland

Irish shelters require a home check (often phone or video) and an adoption contract. Animals are vaccinated, chipped, and registered. Cross-border placements to mainland Europe require the rabies titer test (TRACES system).

Frequently asked

Adopting Adalind & Juliette, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Adalind & Juliette?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. USPCA handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Adalind & Juliette on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Adalind & Juliette if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — USPCA will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Adalind & Juliette already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Adalind & Juliette isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with USPCA early rather than rehoming privately; they know Adalind & Juliette and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
