Dahlia, a Patterdale cross, and Patty, a Jack Russell cross, came into our care as strays and are believed to be around three years old. They’re fast, playful, and thrive on having space to stretch their legs, so they would benefit from a home where a secure dog field or similar safe area is available for energetic bursts and fun games. Their perfect family would enjoy keeping up with their lively spirits and joining in on lots of exercise and play. While Patty is the braver of the two, often leading the way in new situations, Dahlia gains confidence from her companion and blossoms when together. They’d do best in a calm household that can offer patient guidance while they continue building their confidence, particularly in new environments. They are looking for a home with children aged 10 and over who can respect their space, and they would prefer to be the only pets so all the attention and energy can be shared between them and their family. The girls may initially find being left alone challenging, so a home where leaving hours can be built up gradually - or with support from family or dog sitters - would be ideal.
