Tonk is a happy and affectionate cat who loves to meow. He's not shy about letting you know when he has something to say! But his voice isn't the only thing that will win your heart. He's also very attached and loves to snuggle up close to you. He even likes to curl up on his foster parent's lap, whether it's on their shoulder or in their neck. Being close to you is just the best. ❤️ And if you think he can't get any closer, he'll just try to climb up your pants. All for a little extra attention! 😉 He loves people and if you pet him, his purring starts right away. He clearly enjoys attention and is just a sweet boy. His funny habit is that fingers sometimes smell a bit too good. He might gently bite or nibble on them. Don't worry, he means no harm; he just finds fingers interesting. 😇 New people make him curious and he loves to meet them. With people he knows well, he's social: he comes to you, lets you pet him, and then purrs happily. He hasn't had experience with dogs or adult cats yet. But he gets along well with both young and older children. He doesn't need special care. What he needs most is a warm home where he gets lots of love and attention. And if you're looking for a great pair, his brother Teal and he are best friends and often cuddle together. Hoi, ik ben Tonk! 🐾 Ik ben een vrolijke en lieve kater die er graag op los miauwt. Als ik iets te vertellen heb, dan laat ik dat dus gezellig horen! Maar mijn stem is zeker niet het enige waarmee ik je hart probeer te veroveren. Ik ben namelijk ook ontzettend aanhankelijk. Ik kom graag bij je liggen en zoek het liefst een plekje zo dicht mogelijk bij je in de buurt. Tijdens mijn verblijf lag ik zelfs graag bij mijn opvangmens op de bank, lekker op de schouder of gezellig in de nek. Dichtbij zijn vind ik gewoon heerlijk. ❤️ En als je denkt dat ik niet nóg dichterbij kan komen, probeer ik gewoon via je broek omhoog te klimmen. Alles voor een beetje extra aandacht! 😉 Ik ben dol op mensen en als je mij aait, komt mijn spinnemotor meteen op gang. Ik geniet zichtbaar van aandacht en ben gewoon een ontzettend lief mannetje. Mijn grappige gewoonte is dat vingers soms een beetje verdacht lekker ruiken. Ik kan er dan heel zachtjes in bijten of een beetje aan knabbelen. Geen zorgen, ik bedoel het absoluut niet gemeen; ik vind vingers gewoon soms nét iets te interessant. 😇 Nieuwe mensen maken mij nieuwsgierig en ik kom graag kennismaken. Bij mensen die ik goed ken, ben ik lekker sociaal: ik kom naar je toe, laat me aaien en ga vervolgens tevreden spinnen. Met honden en volwassen katten heb ik nog geen ervaring. Met zowel jonge als oudere kinderen kan ik goed omgaan. Ik heb geen speciale verzorging nodig. Wat ik vooral nodig heb, is een warm thuis waar ik veel liefde en aandacht krijg. En als je een leuk duo zoekt: mijn broertje Teal en ik zijn dikke maatjes en liggen vaak samen.
