Where there's a toy, you'll find me. Give me a fishing rod with a string, a little toy mouse, or another cat's tail, and my day just can't get any better. I love running and jumping all around the house and trying to challenge my sweet sister Wanake for a fun chase - even when she's not really in the mood! At first, I can be a bit feisty or shy around new people or other pets. I sometimes take a moment to warm up and let out a proud meow. But as soon as I realize everyone is being nice to me (and especially when a fun toy is pulled out!), I immediately drop my reserve. Once I know and trust you, I become your shadow. I love sticking close to you and always being in the same room to see what you're up to. And when evening falls and it's time to sleep? I snuggle up close to you in bed. Hoi! Mijn naam is Annika, en als je een dosis pure vrolijkheid, energie en gezelligheid zoekt, dan ben je bij mij aan het juiste adres! Ik ben een ontzettend enthousiast kattenmeisje dat vol overgave van het leven geniet. Waar een speeltje is, ben ik te vinden. Geef mij een hengeltje met een touwtje, een klein speelgoedmuisje of de staart van een andere kat, en mijn dag kan simpelweg niet meer stuk. Ik ren en spring heerlijk door het hele huis en probeer mijn lieve zusje Wanaka constant uit te dagen voor een gezellige achtervolging — zelfs op de momenten dat zij daar eigenlijk net even geen zin in heeft! In het begin kan ik bij nieuwe mensen of andere huisdieren een tikkeltje pittig of verlegen uit de hoek komen. Ik moet de kat soms heel even uit de boom kijken en laat dan soms even een stoer blaasje horen. Maar zodra ik merk dat iedereen het goed met me voorheeft (en er vooral een leuk speelgoedje tevoorschijn wordt gehaald!), smijt ik mijn terughoudendheid meteen overboord. Als ik je eenmaal ken en vertrouw, verander ik in jouw kleinste schaduw. Ik wijk dan het liefst niet meer van je zijde en ben altijd in dezelfde ruimte te vinden om mee te krijgen wat je aan het doen bent. En als de avond valt en het tijd is om te slapen? Dan kruip ik heerlijk dicht tegen je aan in bed. Soms nestel ik me zo dichtbij dat ik zelfs boven op je kom liggen om lekker warm in te slummen. Hoe ziet mijn ideale thuis eruit?
