I am a beautiful and thoughtful girl. I love to observe what's happening around me. First, I check if everything is safe, and then I decide if I'm going to take action. But don't be fooled: I'm not always calm! Once I get loose, I can play, climb, and wrestle with my cat friends. I grew up with my big supporter and confidant Yippee. Later, another tomcat joined us, and we also had a good time together. I have a very special bond with Yippee. We are almost always together, and sometimes we even walk side by side, our tails almost entwined. With him by my side, I dare to face the world a little better. ❤️ My days are wonderfully varied. I can sleep for a long time, and when I wake up, it's time to explore. I love to climb everywhere and play with the scratching post, a toy, or just about anything I come across. Does it make a noise or move? Then I'm definitely interested! But first, I take a moment to check if it's all trustworthy. After my exploration, I look for a nice place to sleep. And when I have energy again, it's of course time for a game of wrestling with another kitten. My day goes back and forth between sleeping, exploring, and playing. People are still a bit scary for me. I've discovered that people give me delicious food and that a pat can be quite nice sometimes. That's why I'm getting a little closer. I still don't let myself be stroked extensively and prefer to play a little from a distance, but I'm making progress. Especially when Yippee is with me, I feel much braver. I'm still a bit cautious when meeting new people. If I get some time to get used to you, my curiosity will eventually win, and I'll come and check you out. With people I know better, I'm getting more and more trust. I think that with a little more patience, I'll get out of my shell more and more. I get along well with other cats. I'm used to kittens of about my own age and also to a kitten that was a bit older. That was all very nice. A cat friend in my new home would therefore be nice. And if I could take my best friend Yippee with me, that would be absolutely wonderful! Because I'm still building trust, we're not sure yet if a family with young children is right for me. Younger, quieter children seem to me to be suitable. A house with people who understand my pace and don't put pressure on me is the best fit for me. We don't know yet if I like dogs. My ideal home is a quiet, loving place where I can do my thing. Where I get the time to discover my new environment and decide for myself when I come a little closer. I don't need to be a real lap cat right away. Give me trust, patience, and a little time, and who knows where my curiosity will take me eventually! And of course, it would be extra nice if Yippee could remain part of my life. He is my big support and confidant, and together we feel much braver. Ik ben een mooi en bedachtzaam meisje. Ik vind het heerlijk om rustig te bekijken wat er om mij heen gebeurt. Eerst even kijken of alles veilig is en dan pas beslissen of ik in actie kom. Maar vergis je niet: ik ben zeker niet altijd rustig! Als ik eenmaal loskom, kan ik heerlijk spelen, klimmen en stoeien met mijn kattenvriendjes. Ik ben samen opgegroeid met mijn grote steun en toeverlaat Yippee. Later kwam er nog een andere kater bij en ook met hem vond ik het gezellig. Met Yippee heb ik een heel bijzondere band. We zijn bijna altijd samen en soms lopen we zelfs synchroon naast elkaar, met onze staarten bijna in elkaar verstrengeld. Met hem aan mijn zijde durf ik de wereld nét wat beter aan. ❤️ Mijn dagen zijn heerlijk afwisselend. Ik kan ontzettend lang slapen en als ik wakker word, is het tijd om op onderzoek uit te gaan. Ik klim graag overal op en speel met de krabpaal, een speeltje of eigenlijk alles wat ik toevallig tegenkom. Maakt het geluid of beweegt het? Dan heb ik zeker interesse! Wel kijk ik eerst even rustig of het allemaal wel te vertrouwen is. Na mijn ontdekkingsrondje zoek ik weer een fijn plekje om te slapen. En als ik daarna weer energie heb, is het natuurlijk tijd voor een potje stoeien met een andere kitten. Zo gaat mijn dag een beetje heen en weer tussen slapen, ontdekken en spelen. Mensen vind ik nog best een beetje spannend. Ik heb inmiddels wel ontdekt dat mensen lekker eten geven en dat een aaitje soms eigenlijk best fijn kan zijn. Daarom kom ik steeds een klein stukje dichterbij. Ik laat me nog niet zomaar uitgebreid aaien en speel liever nog een beetje op afstand, maar ik maak zeker vooruitgang. Vooral wanneer Yippee bij me is, voel ik me veel dapperder. Nieuwe mensen bekijk ik eerst voorzichtig van een afstandje. Als ik even de tijd krijg om aan je te wennen, wint mijn nieuwsgierigheid het uiteindelijk en kom ik toch even kijken. Bij mensen die ik beter ken, krijg ik steeds meer vertrouwen. Ik denk dan ook dat ik met wat extra geduld steeds verder uit mijn schulp zal kruipen. Met andere katten kan ik goed overweg. Ik ben gewend aan kittens van ongeveer mijn eigen leeftijd en ook aan een kitten dat wat ouder was. Dat vond ik allemaal erg gezellig. Een kattenvriendje in mijn nieuwe huis zou daarom zeker leuk voor mij zijn. En als ik mijn allerbeste vriend Yippee mee mag nemen, zou dat natuurlijk helemaal geweldig zijn! Omdat ik nog bezig ben met het opbouwen van vertrouwen, weten we nog niet zeker of een gezin met jonge kinderen bij mij past. Oudere, rustige kinderen lijken mij wel geschikt. Een huis met mensen die mijn tempo begrijpen en mij niet onder druk zetten, past het beste bij mij. Of ik honden leuk vind, weten we nog niet. Mijn ideale thuis is een rustige, liefdevolle plek waar ik lekker mijn gang mag gaan. Waar ik de tijd krijg om mijn nieuwe omgeving te ontdekken en zelf mag bepalen wanneer ik een stapje dichterbij kom. Ik hoef niet meteen een echte schootkat te zijn. Geef mij vertrouwen, geduld en een beetje tijd, en wie weet waar mijn nieuwsgierigheid mij uiteindelijk brengt! En natuurlijk zou het voor mij extra fijn zijn als Yippee onderdeel mag blijven van mijn leven. Hij is mijn grote steun en toeverlaat en samen voelen we ons veel dapperder.
