Hi there! I'm Goku. A young, big cuddly bear who is just 11 months old... but I already weigh more than 40 kilograms. I ended up in the shelter after someone found me. Unfortunately, my owner never came forward, so now I'm hoping for a new home where I can really stay. I love cuddling, getting attention and being together. Despite my big size, I'm sometimes still quite an enthusiastic teenager, so I'm looking for someone who is firm in their shoes and can give me clear guidance. With the right guidance, I'm a great companion! During walks, I also like to show how strong I am. I walk steadily on and the end of the lead is usually exactly where I like to walk. A master who is consistent and wants to work with me fits me perfectly. Because of my size and enthusiasm, I prefer not to be around small children — children from about 15 years old are better suited for me. I can be quite enthusiastic and might accidentally knock someone over. It's important to know that I have possessiveness around food and toys. It's important to handle this carefully and train it thoroughly. With other dogs, it's a bit mixed whether it clicks, so a good introduction is important. How I react to cats is still unknown at the shelter. I was chosen to participate in the Dutch Cell Dogs program and therefore I am only available from June 23, 2026. What a pleasure I have with that, nicely training and getting treats, what else do you want as a dog. Hoi hoi! Ik ben Goku Een jonge, grote knuffelbeer van pas 11 maanden oud… al weeg ik inmiddels wel ruim 40 kilo. Ik ben in het asiel terechtgekomen nadat iemand mij gevonden heeft. Helaas heeft mijn baasje zich nooit gemeld, dus nu hoop ik op een nieuw thuis waar ik écht mag blijven. Ik ben dol op knuffelen, aandacht krijgen en gezellig samen zijn. Ondanks mijn grote formaat ben ik soms nog best een enthousiaste puber, dus ik zoek iemand die stevig in zijn of haar schoenen staat en mij duidelijke begeleiding kan geven. Met de juiste begeleiding ben ik een geweldige kameraad! Tijdens het wandelen laat ik ook graag zien hoe sterk ik ben Ik loop stevig door en het einde van de lijn is meestal precies waar ik het liefst wandel. Een baas die consequent is en zin heeft om met mij aan de slag te gaan, past dus perfect bij mij. Vanwege mijn grootte en enthousiasme plaats ik mezelf liever niet bij kleine kinderen — kinderen vanaf ongeveer 15 jaar passen beter bij mij. Ik kan namelijk nogal enthousiast zijn en iemand per ongeluk omver lopen. Belangrijk om te weten is dat ik bezitsdrang rondom eten en speelgoed heb. Het is belangrijk om hier voorzichtig mee om te gaan en flink te trainen hiermee. Met andere honden wisselt het een beetje of het klikt, dus een goede kennismaking is belangrijk. Hoe ik op katten reageer weten ze in het asiel nog niet. Ik ben uitgekozen om mee te doen met het Dutch Cell Dogs-traject en ben daarom pas plaatsbaar vanaf 23-06-2026. Wat een plezier beleef ik daaraan zeg, lekker trainen en snoepjes krijgen, wat wil je als hond nog meer. Ben jij op zoek naar een grote vriend met een nog groter hart én heb je zin om samen met mij verder te trainen en te groeien?
