Norbi is a two-year-old Japanese Akita mix. He looks very much like an Akita, but he is a mixed breed and we don't know what else is in him. He was named Norbi, after one of the staff members of SOS Dogs Romania, because he found him. He rescued him from a village where people wanted to hang him, the wire was tight around his neck and it was quite inflamed. Norbi has been staying at the animal shelter of SOS Dogs for a while now, the wounds on his neck have completely healed and he is doing well. His caregivers say he is a joker, cheerful and always up to some mischief. For example, he acts a bit strange when you pick him up, but in a funny way. Norbi is fond of treats... that's not surprising, which dog doesn't like tasty snacks? Norbi is completely ready for a new start. After his bad past, he now deserves a second chance. He doesn't need much to be happy: a full stomach and some attention from his owner. Norbi is still in Romania but can come to the Netherlands soon. If you are interested in Norbi, please send us a message with your living and working situation and any experience you have with dogs. If after an intake conversation it turns out you are a match, an appointment can be made to visit and pick him up at our small shelter in Didam. Norbi is The adoption fee is € 390,-. Norbi is een twee jaar oude Japanse Akita mix. Hij heeft veel weg van een Akita, maar hij is een kruising en wat er nog meer in hem zit, weten we niet. Hij is naar Norbi, een van de medewerkers van SOS Dogs Roemenië vernoemd, omdat hij hem gevonden heeft. Hij heeft hem gered uit een dorpje waar de mensen hem wilden ophangen, het ijzerdraad zat strak om zijn nek en het was flink ontstoken. Norbi wordt nu al een tijdje in het asiel van SOS Dogs opgevangen, de wonden in zijn nek zijn inmiddels helemaal hersteld en het gaat goed met hem. Zijn verzorgers zeggen dat hij een grapjas is, vrolijk en altijd in voor gekkigheid. Hij doet bijvoorbeeld een beetje raar als je hem optilt, maar op een grappige manier. Norbi is verzot op lekkernijen... dat is niet zo gek, welke hond houdt nou niet van lekkere hapjes? Norbi is helemaal klaar voor een nieuwe start. Na zijn slechte verleden verdient hij nu een nieuwe kans. Hij heeft niet veel nodig om gelukkig te zijn: een gevulde buik en een beetje aandacht van zijn baas. Norbi is nog in Roemenië maar kan binnenkort naar Nederland komen. Als na een intake gesprek blijkt dat jullie een match zijn, dan kan een afspraak gemaakt worden om hem te bezoeken en op te halen in onze kleinschalige opvang in Didam. Norbi is gecastreerd, gevaccineerd, gechipt en heeft een Europees dierenpaspoort. Het adoptiebedrag is € 390,-. Dit is een tegemoetkoming in de kosten zoals o.a. sterilisatie/castratie, de reis naar Nederland, Europees dierenpaspoort, chip en entingen.
