Hi, my name is Lyon and the French name suits me well, as I am a true Burgundian: a sweet, friendly ‘giant’ who is very fond of food. Often, I dive into my food bowl even before it’s ready, I have such a big appetite. Lapping and gnawing, I eat everything up and then it’s time to go on an adventure. I am curious and love to discover new things. A space I haven’t explored yet is super interesting to me. I soon start roaming around and can be found everywhere, climbing in, on, or under things. I also love to play with toys, but prefer playing with my brother Perth. We have a good connection, so we can play quite loudly, be mischievous, but also snuggle up to each other when we are tired. I also like to lie on the foster family’s lap, spinning around, and give you a lick on your chin. It’s a party when Perth is there too, as we first play around, then both fall asleep spinning on the lap. Our quiet foster family has no dogs or children at home, so I don’t know how I will react to that. I am okay with visitors and let them pet me or play with me. You can pet me anywhere, including my tummy where I have a soft lump. That’s a hernia that I don’t have any trouble with, which will only need to be operated on during my neutering. I would love to move to a nice home with my brother Perth where we can grow up together, play a lot, and always have a well-filled food bowl. Will you give me a home soon? Hoi, mij naam is Lyon en die Franse naam past goed bij mij, want ik ben een echte Bourgondiër: een lieve, vriendelijke ‘reus’ die verzot is op eten. Vaak duik ik al in mijn voerbakje nog voordat die klaar staat, zo’n zin heb ik erin. Luid smikkelend en spinnend eet ik alles op en daarna is het tijd om op avontuur te gaan. Ik ben nieuwsgierig en ontdek graag nieuwe dingen. Een ruimte die ik nog niet ken vind ik bijvoorbeeld super interessant. Ik banjer al snel rond en kruip overal in, op of onder. Verder speel ik graag met speeltjes, maar nog liever met mijn broertje Perth. We hebben een goeie klik waardoor we samen flink kunnen ravotten, lekker ondeugend zijn, maar ook knus tegen elkaar aan kruipen als we moe worden. Ik lig trouwens ook graag bij het gastgezin op schoot, ga dan spinnen en geef je dan wel eens een lik over je kin. Het is helemaal feest als Perth er dan ook bij is, want dan is het eerst even nog stoeien waarna we beiden spinnend op schoot in slaap vallen. Bij ons rustige gastgezin zijn er geen honden of kinderen in huis waardoor ik niet weet hoe ik daarop zal reageren. Bezoek krijgen vind ik prima en ik laat me gerust door ze aaien of speel met ze. Je mag me trouwens overal aaien, ook over mijn buikje waar ik een zacht bultje heb. Dat is een navelbreuk waar ik geen last van heb waardoor die pas tijdens mijn castratie geopereerd hoeft te worden. Ik zou heel graag samen met broertjes Perth naar een fijn thuis willen verhuizen waar we samen mogen opgroeien, lekker veel kunnen spelen en er altijd een goed gevuld voerbakje voor ons klaar staat.
