Ik woon inmiddels al een tijdje bij ROZE en ik heb hier best een avontuur achter de rug. Toen ik binnenkwam, was mijn heup uit de kom. Ze hebben mij geopereerd en een heupkopresectie uitgevoerd, maar helaas bleef ik veel last houden van mijn poot. Ik gebruikte hem steeds minder en na verschillende onderzoeken hebben ze uiteindelijk besloten dat ik beter zonder deze poot verder kon. En weet je? Dat was eigenlijk een heel goede beslissing. Inmiddels ben ik helemaal hersteld en woon ik weer gezellig bij mijn gastgezin. Met mijn drie poten red ik me namelijk hartstikke goed. Ik loop gewoon de trap op en af en als ik ergens graag op wil liggen, weet ik mezelf daar meestal prima naartoe te hijsen. Misschien heb ik als ik ouder word wat extra hulp nodig om op hogere plekjes te komen, maar voor nu laat ik me niet zo snel tegenhouden. Ik ben vooral een ontzettend gezellige kat. Ik ben graag bij mensen, kom regelmatig kijken wat je aan het doen bent en ben dol op aandacht. En mocht je even vergeten dat ik er ben, dan help ik je daar graag aan herinneren. Ik kan namelijk heerlijk praten. Zo laat ik precies weten wanneer ik aandacht wil, wanneer ik iets van je nodig heb of wanneer ik gewoon even een gezellig gesprek wil voeren. Een wat levendiger huishouden vind ik eigenlijk wel leuk. Oudere kinderen zijn ook prima, zolang ze begrijpen dat ik met mijn drie poten soms nét wat minder snel ben. Achter mij aan rennen hoeft dus niet. Maar gezellig samen zijn? Heel graag! Ik ben ook graag buiten. Daarom zoek ik een huis met een veilige, goed afgezette tuin waar ik niet uit kan. Dan kan ik lekker naar buiten wanneer ik daar zin in heb. En tussen ons gezegd: ik doe mijn behoefte eigenlijk ook het allerliefste buiten. Natuurlijk gebruik ik ook een kattenbak, maar dan verwacht ik als prins wel dat die netjes schoon wordt gehouden. Over prinsengedrag gesproken: ook over mijn eten heb ik zo mijn mening. Sommige dingen vind ik heerlijk en andere dingen? Die kun je wat mij betreft meteen weer meenemen. Mijn gastgezin kan je precies vertellen wat ik graag lust. En ik heb nog een klein ritueel. Als jij thuiskomt, krijg ik vaak ineens zin om te eten. Het allergezelligste vind ik het namelijk als jij gewoon even bij me bent terwijl ik eet. Samen eten is toch veel leuker dan alleen? Dus ja, ik heb drie poten. Maar eigenlijk is dat helemaal niet het belangrijkste aan mij. Ik ben Thor. Een lieve, sociale, pratende en soms een tikkeltje verwende prins die heel graag een eigen thuis wil waar ik écht bij het gezin hoor.
