A tough character looking for a home! Mikuo is a mixed-breed dog of medium-small size (about 13 kg), born probably in December 2023. He entered the dog shelter just before New Year 2026, after having experienced abandonment when he was still very young. Despite this, he has kept a great dignity and a strong personality. He is a small dog with an independent character, one of those that do not give themselves immediately, but that know how to create deep bonds when they find the right person. He does not get along with male dogs, while he can live with a balanced female, capable of guiding him calmly and securely. Mikuo is sociable and accepts caresses, although he needs them to be respected according to his own pace and space: in some areas of his body he prefers not to be touched. Listening to him and understanding him will be the first step in gaining his trust. For him we are looking for an experienced, consistent and patient person, who wants to work with him with gentle firmness. Someone who knows how to be a reliable guide, able to offer him stability and reference points. With the right person, Mikuo can become an extraordinary companion: loyal, authentic, capable of building a deep relationship based on trust, mutual respect and shared small and big achievements. If you think you are the determined human who can change his fate, Mikuo is waiting for you! He is in a private dog shelter affiliated in the province of Rome but we also place him in the north, after the necessary pre-adoption home checks, vaccinated, spayed, tested for leishmaniasis and of course with a microchip.

Un tipetto di carattere in cerca di casa! Mikuo è un meticcio di taglia medio-contenuta (circa 13 kg), nato presumibilmente a dicembre 2023. È entrato in canile poco prima del Capodanno 2026, dopo aver conosciuto l’abbandono quando era ancora così giovane. Nonostante questo, ha conservato una grande dignità e una personalità forte. È un cagnolino dal carattere indipendente, uno di quelli che non si concedono subito, ma che sanno creare legami profondi quando trovano la persona giusta. Con i cani maschi non va d’accordo, mentre può convivere con una femmina equilibrata, capace di guidarlo con serenità e sicurezza. Mikuo è socievole e accetta le carezze, anche se ha bisogno che vengano rispettati i suoi tempi e i suoi spazi: in alcune zone del corpo preferisce non essere toccato. Ascoltarlo e comprenderlo sarà il primo passo per conquistare la sua fiducia. Per lui cerchiamo una persona esperta, coerente e paziente, che abbia il desiderio di lavorare con lui con dolce fermezza. Qualcuno che sappia essere una guida sicura, capace di offrirgli stabilità e punti di riferimento. Con la persona giusta, Mikuo potrà diventare un compagno straordinario: leale, autentico, capace di costruire un rapporto profondo basato su fiducia, rispetto reciproco e piccole, grandi conquiste condivise.
