Potty trained Aki is one of thirteen kittens who were brutally dumped in the woods along with two mother cats, left to fend for themselves in the cold, hungry, and surrounded by dangers lurking behind every bush. Every sound was a threat, and every minute a fight to survive. When we found him, he was exhausted, starving, and so terrified that he could barely let out a meow. Today, Aki is a completely different cat — healed, gentle, and surprisingly trusting despite everything he has been through. He loves cuddles, starts purring the moment someone looks at him, and enjoys the safety he never had before. Now he’s looking for a home where he will be loved forever and never abandoned again. “I love snuggling into a soft blanket, so I often look like a little burrito with ears. ”
