Akido urgently needs a suitable home 🐾 I am urgently seeking a new home for my dog Akido, as our current situation is no longer sustainable. I have lived alone with my two dogs for over three years while working full-time, without any support or childcare options. Additionally, a pet hair allergy has developed, and I am now health-wise limited. Proper care for my dog Akido is no longer feasible for me. 📋 Akido (born 2016), mixed breed (approximately 35 cm, unneutered) is active, clingy, and people-oriented, seeking close contact with his reference persons. He cannot be left alone (has pronounced separation anxiety). He has a food allergy and currently takes supporting medication due to his separation issues. He has had fears of cracking noises for about 6 months. 🏡 Please contact me only if the following points apply: Akido cannot be left alone; you should have sufficient time for training (including exercises to cope with separation and noise fears) and are ideally mostly at home (e.g., a retiree or working from home long-term). You should have experience with older dogs, preferably with sensitive dogs. You should be willing to cover veterinary costs and special food (similar to horse food). There should be no children in the household, no cats, and a quiet environment. Akido is a lovely dog but requires people who can offer him the necessary time, security, and reliability.
