Percy was admitted to us on December 5, 2015. He grew up in a state animal shelter in Romania and successfully weathered Parovirose Type 1. He is healthy and has no late effects from this illness. Percy is a curious and affectionate male dog who loves to snuggle with us. The scars on his face show that he hasn't had an easy life in the shelter, but he is only friendly towards fellow animals and people he trusts. He can be suspicious of strangers and even snap, especially when he is on his own territory. However, this is not always the case; some people find him great from the start and he shows only friendliness. Once he has gotten to know someone and has warmed up to them, he is reliably friendly and wags his tail with joy to see them! 🙂 Percy travels well in the car and can walk nicely on a leash. He loves long walks and has already learned many commands that he executes reliably. He is house-trained, gets along very well with fellow animals, and can also be left alone. We are looking for a loving home for Percy, preferably with an existing dog, where he can stay forever. Percy ist am 05. Dezember 2015 bei uns eingezogen. Er ist in einem staatlichen Tierasyl in Rumänien aufgewachsen und hat dort Parovirose Typ 1 gut überstanden. Er ist gesund und hat keinerlei Spätschäden aus dieser Krankheit. Percy ist ein neugieriger und lieber Rüde, der es liebt, mit uns zu kuscheln. Die Narben in seinem Gesicht zeigen, dass er es nicht leicht gehabt hat in seinem Leben im Asyl, trotzdem ist er nur freundlich gegenüber Artgenossen und ihm vertrauten Menschen. Fremden Menschen gegenüber kann er misstrauisch sein und sogar schnappen, insbesondere, wenn er sich auf seinem eigenen Territorium befindet. Jedoch ist dies nicht immer so, manche Menschen findet er von Anfang an klasse und zeigt sich nur freundlich. Hat er jemanden einmal kennengelernt und ins Herz geschlossen, ist er zuverlässig freundlich und freut sich mit propellernder Rute, ihn zu sehen! 🙂 Percy fährt prima im Auto mit und kann gut an der Leine laufen. Er liebt lange Spaziergänge und hat schon viele Kommandos gelernt, die er zuverlässig ausführt. Er ist stubenrein, verträgt sich sehr gut mit Artgenossen und kann auch mal alleine bleiben. Wir suchen für Percy ein liebevolles Zuhause, gern mit bereits vorhandenen Hunden, in dem er für immer ankommen darf.
