Under pressure, he showed defensive behavior. He is compatible with the other dogs and female dogs in his kennel. ————– Update May 2025: Akim spent most of our visit in the outdoor area of his kennel and even took our treats out of our hands. He appeared relatively relaxed. A good development for the little guy. —————– Update October 2024: Akim remains insecure and reserved. During our visit, he stayed in the hut – he picked up the treats we brought from the ground. When we tried to stroke him with the wrong hand, he remained passive but could not enjoy it and escaped the situation as soon as he had the opportunity. —————— Update May 2023: Shelter life is taking its toll on him, he looks older. He takes treats out of our hands, is curious but remains reserved. —————— Update November 2022: Akim still avoids us, but can still relax despite our presence. Unter Bedrängung zeigte er Abwehrverhalten. Mit den anderen Hunden und Hündinnen in seinem Kennel ist er verträglich. ————– UPDATE Mai 2025: AKIM hielt sich bei unserem Besuch diesmal überwiegend im Außenbereich seines Kennels auf und nahm unsere Leckerchen sogar aus der Hand. Er wirkte dabei relativ entspannt. Eine gute Entwicklung für den kleinen Kerl. —————– Update Oktober 2024: AKIM ist weiterhin unsicher und zurückhaltend. Er blieb bei unserem Besuch in der Hütte – nahm dort die mitgebrachten Leckerchen vom Boden. Als wir versuchten, ihn mit der falschen Hand zu streicheln, blieb er passiv, konnte dies aber in keiner Weise genießen und entzog sich der Situation sobald sich ihm die Möglichkeit bot. —————— UPDATE Mai 2023: das Shelterleben setzt ihm zu, er ist optisch gealtert nimmt Leckerli aus der Hand ist neugierig aber weiterhin zurückhaltend —————– UPDATE November 2022: AKIM ging uns nach wie vor aus dem Weg, konnte sich aber trotz unserer Anwesenheit entspannen. Kontakt: Unsere Hunde sind geimpft (Tollwut und 2x Grundimmunisierung) sind gechippt und mit dem EU-Heimtierausweis ausgestattet werden auf unsere Kosten (wir übernehmen die Labor-Gebühren) auf die gängigen Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet: Babesiose, Ehrlichiose, Leishmaniose, Rickettsien, Filarien, Hepatozoonose, Anaplasmose werden nur nach positiver Vorkontrolle (Hausbesuch) gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit Schutzvertrag vermittelt.
