Two serious gentlemen with serious sorrows. Aku, the older one, is deaf, has thyroid hyperactivity, and suffers from kidney inflammation. Klusik fights with intestinal inflammation and must be on a special diet. Both take expensive medications. Their history is rather atypical, though just as sad as most of our residents. Their caregiver left for a trip abroad, leaving 3 cats in an empty shelter. For a YEAR. The person who came to help only had the goodwill and time to clean the litter boxes and feed the "protégés" a handful of nuts every few days. Luckily, someone reported the situation to the right people, and the cats were taken in by a foundation where we had previously worked. Thanks to this, they didn't end up in an animal shelter. Aku's and Klusik's companion found a home rather quickly. These two had to stay together—they are so intertwined with each other that no one had the heart to separate them. And somehow, no one wanted to adopt the two older, feisty cats. So they still live with us. They share their home with female dog Rubi and two kittens. A full house!

Dwaj poważni panowie z poważnymi dolegliwościami. Aku, starszy, jest głuchy, ma nadczynność tarczycy i zapalenie trzustki. Klusek boryka się z zapaleniem jelit i musi być na specjalistycznej diecie. Obydwaj przyjmują drogie leki. Ich historia jest dość nietypowa, choć równie smutna jak większości naszych rezydentów. Ich opiekunka wyjechała za granicę, zostawiając 3 koty w pustym mieszaniu. Na ROK. Dochodząca osoba miała tylko tyle dobrej woli i czasu, żeby posprzątać kuwety i sypnąć “podopiecznym” tonę chrupek raz na kilka dni. Na szczęście ktoś zawiadomił kogo trzeba i koty przejęła fundacja, w której wcześniej działaliśmy. Dzięki temu nie trafiły do schroniska. Kolega Aku i Kluska dość szybko znalazł dom. Ci dwaj musieli zostać razem – są tak ze sobą zżyci, że nikt nie miał serca ich rozdzielać. I tak jakoś wyszło, że nikt nie zechciał adoptować dwóch starszawych burasów. Tym sposobem wciąż są z nami. Mieszkają z suczką Rubi i dwiema kotkami. Pełna chata!
