Tekla is such a cat that she needs a loving and patient person. Our journey to bonding took a bit longer – Tekla went from a cat who sat under the bed for two weeks and was afraid to come out, to a cat who won't let me put on my socks in the morning unless she gets a bit of petting first. Tekla is also a cat who constantly raises the bar by being a cat. It's a type of cat who mews when lying next to you, because "Hey, there's a human next to me, human, take a hand out, give me a bit of petting." Tekla is also very talkative. We often have long discussions that turn into arguments – I try to explain to her that she can't have more treats today, but she stubbornly insists that she should because she's a small cat and, anyway, the fact that she's such a delicate little thing should end the conversation and JUST GIVE ME THE CRINKLY TREATS. Tekla likes to play with a fishing rod, chase chestnuts, and she also uses scratching posts, especially cardboard ones. Tekla is also, on the other hand, a difficult cat: she can gently but firmly tap with her paw to say, "HUMAN, YOU ARE PETTING ME FROM THE WRONG ANGLE." This is a cat who is afraid of new situations, and can be easily scared by something (she then retreats to her safe hideaway and observes the events unfolding). Tekla loves being petted, but everything must happen on her terms, or she will PAC with her paw. Tekla is a cat who already lived a sad life on garden plots – now she is waiting for a home until the end of her days.

Tekla to taki kot co to potrzebuje kochającej i cierpliwej osoby. Nasza droga do zakumplowania się trochę trwała – Tekla przeszła etap od kota który siedział dwa tygodnie pod łóżkiem i bał się wyjść, do kota który rano nie da mi założyć skarpetek bo najpierw trzeba pogłaskać kotka.. Tekla to też kot który co rusz wbija kolejny level bycia kotem. To typ kota który mruczy jak sobie leży obok, bo „Hej, jest człowiek obok, człowiek, weź ręke dej, weź trochę pogłaskaj”. Tekla jest też gadatliwa. Bardzo gadatliwa. Czasem toczymy długie dyskusje które przeradzają się w kłótnie – ja jej tłumacze że nie może dziś dostać więcej smaczków a ona zaciekle idzie w zaparte, że owszem, może dostać więcej smaczków bo jest drobnym kotkiem i w ogóle to już sam fakt, że jest takim filigranowym pyszczkiem powinien kończyć rozmowę i STARA DAWAJ TE CHRUPKI. Tekla lubi bawić się wędką, ganiać za kasztanami, bezbłędnie korzysta też z drapaków, zwłaszcza kartonowych. Tekla to też z drugiej strony trudny kot: potrafi delikatnie ale stanowczo pacając łapką dać znać, że „CZŁOWIEK, POD ZŁYM KĄTEM MNIE GŁASZCZESZ”. To kot który boi się nowych sytuacji, łatwo ją czymś wystraszyć (ucieka wtedy do swojej bezpiecznej kryjówki i obserwuje rozwój wydarzeń). Tekla uwielbia głaskanie, ale wszystko musi odbywać się na jej zasadach, bo inaczej jest PAC łapką. Tekla to kot który swój smutny żywot na ogródkach działkowych już przeżył – teraz czeka na dom do końca swoich dni.
