Alf von undsoweiter – außerordentlich Außerirdischer

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Alf was given this spot with us after some waiting time, as he no longer received the appropriate time needed for him. Unfortunately, in some situations, limits were not set, and he was not taken on as a leader to guide him. Dog encounters and cultivated acquaintances are his problem, although he is fundamentally compatible. Age-appropriate, he makes a mighty impact on Molly during encounters with fellow animals and appears genuinely imposing. Clearly, he lacks leash manners and orientation towards humans. Even during greetings with two-legged beings, he is rather distant. He has often used his pretty head to push through the wall too many times. While he does have a fundamentally nice character, a considerable amount of follow-up training is now necessary. Consistently, lovingly, and with the necessary perseverance, which would make him the loving companion he has within him. Larger children or fellow animals are conceivable, but cats and small animals are not. Given his slanted spine, which suggests he might suffer from age-related issues, an apartment with little to no stairs is sought. Accordingly, medical precautions to counteract the process should be a given. A house with a garden would be nice, but this is not a condition for mediation. Who wants to explain Alf our planet and offer him his personal Melmac? Following Alf’s motto, "Not being able to do something is no reason not to do it," Alf brings all the prerequisites with him to be able to live through life with zero problems in the future with consistent and genuinely diligent training. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

DE·Show original

What happens if Alf von undsoweiter – außerordentlich Außerirdischer isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Schkortitz early rather than rehoming privately; they know Alf von undsoweiter – außerordentlich Außerirdischer and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
