Adopt Alisia

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Puppy · 4 months

Alisia - a little heartbreaker with great courage Alisia's story begins at a place where a dog should not live. Her mother (the last two pictures) was rescued together with many other small dogs from a terrible breeding facility, where the animals were locked up for months and left to their own devices. Between fear, cramped conditions and hopelessness, she gave birth to her puppies at our animal shelter - among them the little Alisia. Yet although her start in life was anything but beautiful, Alisia carries nothing of that in her little heart. Thanks to the loving care of the volunteers, she learned that people can also mean warmth, security and safety. Alongside her siblings, she is now growing up safely and developing into a cheerful, curious little puppy mouse. Alisia is typically playful, open and full of discovery joy. For her, every day is a new adventure. Whether lively playing with her siblings, curious exploring of her surroundings or cozy cuddling after playing, Alisia enjoys life to the fullest. She has this wonderful charming way that immediately makes people smile. With her clumsy movements, curious nose and lively nature, she easily wins hearts. Of course, she also has some little whims in her head sometimes, after all, a bit of puppy chaos is simply part of it. Shoes, shoelaces or rustling blankets are eagerly examined and sometimes maybe even cautiously "tested". Alisia is a little dog treasure who wants to discover the whole world. Walks, car rides, the dog ABC and all the things a family dog is allowed to learn await her. But she comes with excellent prerequisites: she is attentive, curious and happy about every new experience. With loving guidance, she will surely quickly understand how beautiful life can be by the side of her own family. We wish for people who will accompany Alisia through life with patience and love. People who are aware that the little puppy will one day become an adult dog and will love her just as much in every stage of her life as she is now. If you have fallen in love with our little sugar mouse Alisia and are ready to go through thick and thin with her, then contact our adoption officer.

About Alisia

What life with Alisia looks like

Alisia is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Europa in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Alisia, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Alisia?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Europa handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Alisia on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Alisia if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Europa will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Alisia already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Alisia isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Europa early rather than rehoming privately; they know Alisia and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
