Alphy is a small Miniature Pinscher who arrived at our shelter after being found wandering. Despite searches, his owner unfortunately never came forward to claim him. He will now need to find a new family to write the next chapter of his story. Behind his small size is a great dog who needs time to feel fully confident. Since arriving at the shelter, Alphy has been quite stressed and can be reserved, especially when around men. He will need to be given time to adjust to his new environment without being overwhelmed. Once he feels comfortable, Alphy reveals a different side. He becomes very affectionate, loving, and close to his human, enjoying moments of bonding and the reassuring presence of the person he has attached to. He also likes going outside and enjoying time outdoors, which allows him to explore his surroundings. His compatibility with other animals, both dogs and cats, is currently unknown and will be discovered as he evolves and meets his needs. Alphy is a small dog who will need a gentle transition to a new home. The first few days will likely require patience, kindness, and understanding so he can settle in and gradually regain his confidence.

Alphy est un petit Pinscher nain qui est arrivé chez nous après avoir été trouvé errant. Malgré les recherches entreprises, son propriétaire ne s’est malheureusement jamais manifesté pour le réclamer. C’est donc aujourd’hui auprès d’une nouvelle famille qu’il devra pouvoir écrire la suite de son histoire. Derrière sa petite taille se cache un chouette chien qui a toutefois besoin de temps pour se sentir pleinement en confiance. Depuis son arrivée au refuge, Alphy se montre encore assez stressé et peut rester sur la réserve, particulièrement lorsqu’il est en présence d’hommes. Il faudra donc savoir respecter son rythme et lui laisser le temps de découvrir son nouvel environnement sans lui en demander trop. Une fois la confiance installée, Alphy dévoile un tout autre visage. Il se montre alors très câlin, affectueux et proche de son humain, appréciant particulièrement les moments de complicité et la présence rassurante de la personne à laquelle il s’est attaché. Il aime également sortir et profiter de moments en extérieur, qui lui permettent de découvrir tranquillement ce qui l’entoure. Concernant les autres animaux, les ententes d’Alphy avec les chiens comme avec les chats restent actuellement inconnues. Elles seront donc à découvrir progressivement en fonction de son évolution et de ses besoins. Alphy est un petit chien pour lequel l’adaptation à un nouveau foyer devra se faire en douceur. Les premiers temps demanderont certainement de la patience, de la bienveillance et beaucoup de compréhension afin qu’il puisse prendre ses marques et retrouver progressivement confiance.
