And Brenda were caught as strays near a farm. Upon arriving at the shelter, they initially withdrew extremely. The unfamiliar environment, unfamiliar smells, and unfamiliar sounds made the two sisters very afraid, and so they acted according to their instinct: they hid! Now, the sisters, who like to lie together, have gotten somewhat accustomed to the new impressions, and at least Alva has already become relatively relaxed when discovered in her hiding spot. Both are searching for a new home where understanding people live, who earn their trust with patience and empathy.

wurden als Streuner in der Nähe eines Bauernhofes eingefangen. Bei uns angekommen, zog sie sich anfangs extrem zurück. Fremde Umgebung, fremde Gerüche, fremde Geräusche – das alles machte der Mieze Angst, und so handelten sie ihrem Instinkt entsprechend: Sie versteckte sich! Inzwischen hat sich Brenda an die neuen Eindrücke etwas gewöhnt, und läuft durchs Zimmer, auch wenn ihre Pflegerinnen bei ihr sind. Sie sucht ein neues Heim, entweder als alleinige Fellnase oder als Zweitkatze zu einem Artgenossen dazu. In einer ruhigen Umgebung entwickelt sie bestimmt täglich mehr Vertrauen.
