Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 4 years

The Andreoli consist of two litters that were found together and whose exact assignment to the two families that we originally called Aldini and Fabbri is unfortunately no longer possible. Here are the backgrounds of the two families: GLI 6 ALDINI It should not have happened - but it did happen again, and now we have to save 6 more little souls from certain death. Unfortunately, it was not possible to catch and neuter the mother of our last year's puppies "I Sindaci" for many different reasons, so there was again offspring. These puppies would now face certain death at the hands of the owner if we did not take care of them. So there is nothing to consider...... At the moment, they are still too young to take them away from there and the mother, but we still want to report on them. The mother is the sister of Grace, whom we took into our care last year along with her 10 puppies and accommodated in LIDA Olbia. The father is the well-known and super friendly Rüde with small HerdenschutzhundMischlingsDickkopf, who was also the father of the "Sindaci" and Grace's puppies last year. We can count on a small success in the whole mess that we were able to neuter the Rüden - we called him Gustavo - in February 2022. He will continue to live with his owner. I FABBRI - again puppies..... The parents of this litter are no strangers to us. We have been accompanying these dogs for some time now and unfortunately there has not been the possibility to prevent new offspring. A trusting relationship with their owner would be very advantageous for this, but unfortunately he is not able to approach the dogs himself. The course of events is in any case set and the big step is made - we may take care of the puppies and also take care of the parent animals - which is not a matter of course in Sardinia. Now 15 beautiful mixed breeds are looking for a loving forever home. They are growing up in LIDA Olbia and are lovingly cared for and medically cared for there. If you have questions about our protégés, or if you would like to offer a place as a family member on a foster home or final home to ONE OF THE 15 ANDREOLI, please contact: .

I FABBRI – noch einmal Welpen.....

About Amir

What life with Amir looks like

Amir is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at SardinienHunde e.V. in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Amir, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Amir?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SardinienHunde e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Amir on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Amir if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SardinienHunde e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Amir already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Amir isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SardinienHunde e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Amir and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
