February 3, 2026 Amor is a Carey kitten who has been waiting too long. She appeared with her siblings in a controlled feral cat colony; the caretakers alerted us because they didn't belong there. All her siblings have found homes, but not her. She arrived with just two months, in 2022. Years later, Amor still waits, watching as others leave while she remains, unseen. She needs someone special, someone who can look beyond and understand that not all loves are immediate. Amor is a feisty and curious kitten, she loves to play and sleep with her cattery companions. When she gains confidence, she approaches and asks for attention, but when physical contact comes, she shivers and doesn't enjoy it much. Still, she is very good and lets herself be handled without any problem. Amor is a beautiful cat, ideal as a companion to other cats where she can feel safe and loved in her own way. Are you ready to truly see her? The Calderón siblings (Amor, Honor, Poder, Poesía, and Vida) appeared in a controlled feral cat colony. Their mother could not be from the feral cat colony since all are neutered. They were likely the result of a domestic cat whose owner did not bother to neuter her and left her to fend for them, so small they had no chance of survival and were in great danger. The caretakers of the feral cat colony alerted us, and we brought them to the animal shelter. Amor is already vaccinated and neutered. FELV-FIV test negative. June 6, 2023 Amor is the only one of her siblings still waiting for a home. She is a feisty kitten who loves to play and sleep with her cattery companions. Although she is a provocateur, she approaches and asks for attention, shivers when touched, and doesn't enjoy the contact much, but she is very good and lets herself be handled without any problem. Todos han encontrado un hogar todos menos ella. Llegó con apenas dos meses, en 2022. Hoy, años después, Amor sigue aquí, esperando. Viendo cómo otros se van mientras ella permanece, invisible. Necesita a alguien especial, alguien que sepa mirar más allá y entienda que no todos los amores son inmediatos. Es una gata pizpireta y curiosa, le encanta jugar y dormir acompañada de sus compañeros de gatera. Cuando coge confianza, se acerca y te pide atención pero cuando llega el contacto físico, se estremece, no lo disfruta demasiado. Aun así, es muy buena, y se deja manipular sin ningún problema. Es una gata preciosa e ideal como compañera de otros gatos, donde pueda sentirse segura y querida a su manera. ¿Estás dispuesto a verla de verdad? ---------------------------------------------------------- Los hermanos Calderón ( Amor, Honor, Poder, Poesía y Vida) aparecieron en una colonia controlada, su madre no podía ser de la colonia, ya que todos están castrados. Seguramente son fruto de una gata casera cuyo dueña/o no se ha molestado en castrarla y los ha dejado allí para que se busquen la vida, tan pequeños no tienen ninguna posibilidad de sobrevivir y corrían mucho peligro. Las cuidadoras de la colonia dieron en aviso y los trajimos al albergue. Ya está vacunada y castrada. Test FELV-FIV negativo. 6.6.2023 Amor es la única de sus hermanos que sigue esperando un hogar. Es una gata muy pizpireta, le encanta jugar y dormir con sus compañeros de gatera. Aunque es una provocadora, se acerca y te pide atención, a la hora de tocarla se estremece y no disfruta mucho del contacto, aunque es muy buena y se deja manipular sin problema.
