Quirino arrived with less than two months of age after being found at a school in Paracuellos. He was rescued along with his mother and his sister, but he is the only one still at the animal shelter. Since his arrival, and being so small, he struggled with interaction with humans, who seemed foreign and somewhat terrifying to him. So tiny, he didn't have the luck of being adopted, so the contact with people is something we've had to work on at the animal shelter, where everything happens more slowly. He's a little shy kitten but very good-natured, and he has made great progress and allows handling: sometimes he enjoys being petted, other times he just tucks in and becomes small. It's the pity of those who arrive as babies and become invisible. In an animal shelter and with so many animals, socializing them all is complex, and some require more time and persistence than we have. Therefore, we know that as a young kitten, just turning one year old, he will evolve much more with a family that can dedicate time and security to him every day of his life. He puts in all he has to receive affection.----- This pair of siblings (Quirino and Quirina) appeared on the grounds of a school in Paracuellos; the children gave the alert, and we went to pick them up, as this is one of the towns that has contracted with us for collection. They always sleep hugging each other; they are so tiny. She is very sweet, he has more character, he likes to put on a tough guy face.... He is already vaccinated and neutered. FELV-FIV test negative. Cat puppies should live in pairs for their best sociabilization.

Quirino llegó con menos de dos meses tras ser encontrado en un colegio de Paracuellos. Fue rescatado junto a su mamá y su hermanita, pero es el único que sigue en el albergue. Desde que llegó, y siendo muy pequeño, le costó la interacción con el ser humano, que le resultaba ajeno y algo aterrador. Tan chiquitín, no tuvo la suerte de ser acogido, por lo que el contacto con las personas es algo que hemos tenido que trabajar en el albergue, donde todo va más lentamente. Es un gatito un poco tímido pero muy bueno, ha progresado mucho y se deja manipular: a veces disfruta de las caricias, otras simplemente se aguanta y se hace pequeño. Es la pena de aquellos que llegan de bebés y se vuelven invisibles. En un albergue y con tantos animales, socializarlos a todos es complejo y algunos requieren más tiempo y constancia del que tenemos. Por ello sabemos que siendo todavía un gatito joven, que acaba de cumplir el año, evolucionará mucho más con una familia que pueda dedicarle tiempo y seguridad todos los días de su vida. Él pone todo de su parte para recibir mimos. ----------------------------------------------------- Esta parejita de hermanos (Quirino y Quirina) apareció en el terreno de una escuela en Paracuellos, los niños dieron el aviso y fuimos a recogerlos, porque este es uno de los pueblos que tiene contratada con nosotros la recogida.
