Adopt “Io e il mio cane facciamo sempre tutto insieme”

Mixed Breed · Female

On February 16 at 8:45 pm in Bianchi Hall, the Belluno section of FIAB - Italian Federation for the Environment and Cycling will host Nicola Inversi and his dog Erin, who are the protagonists of a bike trip from Rome to Capo Nord. The story of a 4,300 km bike journey and the friendship between a dog and her human companion. Erin and Nicola Inversi "I and my dog do everything together," Nicola said a few months ago to Republic, "except for hiking trails that I often do in the mountains. But two years ago, Erin nearly died from a respiratory crisis after swallowing some grasses: the veterinarian said there were few chances, but he operated on her and called me saying she had survived the night. When I went to pick her up, I made a promise: 'The next time you will come with me to Capo Nord.'" And so it happened. Erin is a female Labrador who left Rome with Nicola and arrived at Capo Nord. Throughout the entire trip, with an inquisitive look on the roads and trails of six European countries under the wheels. Approximately three months of travel. Starting a long bike trip with a tent and all the necessary items to live away from home for several months is already complicated, but with a dog it becomes epic. The event is scheduled for Friday, February 16 at 8:45 pm in Bianchi Hall in Belluno.

All'incirca tre mesi di viaggio.

What life with “Io e il mio cane facciamo sempre tutto insieme” looks like

Frequently asked

Adopting “Io e il mio cane facciamo sempre tutto insieme”, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about “Io e il mio cane facciamo sempre tutto insieme”?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Associazione Onlus Apaca handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw “Io e il mio cane facciamo sempre tutto insieme” on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt “Io e il mio cane facciamo sempre tutto insieme” if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Associazione Onlus Apaca will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is “Io e il mio cane facciamo sempre tutto insieme” already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if “Io e il mio cane facciamo sempre tutto insieme” isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Associazione Onlus Apaca early rather than rehoming privately; they know “Io e il mio cane facciamo sempre tutto insieme” and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (IT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
